When the model-turned-actress, Nisha Rawal had stepped into the entertainment industry, she was unaware of the Aane Wala Pal that on the sets of her debut film, she will meet the love of her life. A fashion designer from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Delhi was roped in as a stylist in Nisha’s debut film and Hastey Hastey they had begun their journey of being colleagues to friends to lovers to soulmates. Without the question of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Karan and Nisha had begun dating while moving on with their respective careers and making their marks in the industry. Four years into marital bliss, when Karan Mehra was in the Bigg Boss house, his wife, Nisha Rawal had found out that she’s pregnant and in 2017, the lovebirds had welcomed their little bundle of joy, Kavish Mehra into their lives. A few weeks ago, Karan had taken the nostalgic road to dig out a major throwback memory with his then-girlfriend, Nisha during the shoot of Hastey Hastey in New York. Sharing the picture with Nisha, Karan had written, “Look what I found. During the shoot of “Hastey Hastey” in New York, 2007 where we met. My behind the camera look...don’t miss the neckpiece.” On which, Nisha had commented, “Such babies” followed by a love-struck emoticon.
November 24, 2020, marked to be the eighth wedding anniversary of Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal, and the lovebirds celebrated their special day with a lunch date and a photoshoot with their little one, Kavish Mehra. Amidst the beautiful setup of golden and white balloons, metallic gold foil balloons and ‘Karan & Nisha’ banner written in glitter, the pictures of the Mehra family were a feast for eyes and their goofiness made the captures even more lively. While Nisha looked stunning in a black balloon sleeves top and matching lower and belt accentuating her all-black outfit, Karan complemented her in a white polka-dotted shirt paired with a grey jacket and matching denim. Little Kavish stole the limelight with his cuteness and was dressed casually for the photoshoot.
To mark their seventh wedding anniversary, Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal had jetted off to the Maldives and the lovebirds had given beautiful glimpses of their super-fun vacation on their respective social media profiles. Sharing a picture where she had piggybacked on Karan, Nisha had wished her husband, “7-years of Marriage & 14 years of togetherness! Kaisa raha yeh cute Vanvaas Mr. Mehra? Karan Mehra, in his anniversary wish for Nisha Rawal, had thanked her for giving him the most precious gift, their son, Kavish Mehra and expressed how his journey has been with his wife. Karan had written, “Happy Anniversary my Love. It still seems like we met yesterday and time has just flown past with all the ups and downs in our lives but you held on to my hand and the bond of friendship turned into love into marriage and the most precious gift Kavish. Thankyou for this amazing journey I have had with a crazy, fun loving, non stop entertainment and a beautiful soul in the form of a wife “I Love You”.”
Three days before her birthday i.e., on November 15, 2020, Nisha Rawal had decided to gift herself with the best birthday gift and a ‘first’ in her life. Giving a glimpse of the same, Nisha had written, “My 1st Tattoo set! Happy Birthday to Me! #MyGiftToMyself #3daystogo 4 bands: Baby Angel, Kavish, Honey, my 1st pet & Dad. Circle of Life.” For the uninitiated, Baby Angel is Karan and Nisha’s unborn child, whom they had terminated in the year 2014.
