Now, according to a report by Bollywood Life, the Kapoor family has planned something special for Ranbir, Alia and their to-be-born child on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2022.

Kapoor family is known for their grand celebrations. And, everyone is aware of their fondness for the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. For years, the Kapoor family had welcomed Ganpati Bappa at the RK Studios. However, though the RK Studios has been sold, the Kapoors are not going to break their years-old tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together. This year, however, is more special for the Kapoor clan as they will welcome their sixth generation. According to a report by Bollywood Life, the Kapoor family is all set to organise a special puja for Ranbir, Alia and their yet-to-be-born child on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The reports stated:
"The Kapoors have organised a special puja for Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and their yet-to-be-born baby. The puja is to celebrate the new phase of Ranbir and Alia and also to ensure and pray for everyone's well-being."
Meanwhile, the to-be-grandmother, Neetu Kapoor, was overjoyed when she heard about Ranbir and Alia's pregnancy. When being asked about how she was feeling by the paparazzi, Neetu couldn't control her emotions, and she smiled out of joy. Further, she replied:
"It's like the best thing in the world."

On June 27, 2022, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and shared the news about her pregnancy. Along with sharing the post, mommy-to-be Alia Bhatt had shared a picture of her sonography session with Ranbir. Her caption, along with the picture, could be read as:
"Our baby......coming soon."
