To announce the arrival of his second child, Kapil Sharma had tweeted in the early February 1, 2021, morning, "Namaskaar we are blessed with a Baby boy this early morning, by the grace of God Baby n Mother both r fine, thank you so much for all the love, blessings n prayers love you all ginni n kapil #gratitude." Kapil Sharma was flooded with congratulatory messages for him and Ginni Chatrath. It was only a few days ago when Kapil had confirmed the news of Ginni’s pregnancy during an interaction with his fans on Twitter. Revealing the reason behind The Kapil Sharma Show going off-air, Kapil had said, “Bcoz I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.”
It was in December 2019 when Kapil Sharma had announced the arrival of his daughter, Anayra Sharma and fourteen months later, his wife, Ginni Chatrath gave birth to their second child. Commenting on Kapil’s baby announcement post, one netizen wrote, "That was quick you had a baby girl last year." The other Twitterati replied, “No gap between child? To congratulate Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath, Bharti Singh posted a throwback picture of the then-to-be mommy and Anayra Sharma from the baby shower ceremony. Ginni and Anayra had twinned for the former’s baby shower in green-coloured outfits. Bharti captioned the picture as “Its boy. yay!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st Feb will always be a special date for me. When Ajay Devgn and Kajol Devgan had appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotions of their film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, during their conversation, Kapil Sharma had asked the actress to rate her husband out of 100. To which, Ajay had said, “Yaar mujhe kyun?” Saying that how he has to make more money now since he has a daughter, Kapil had replied, “Episode hai sir, kuch to poochna hi hai. To yehi pooch lete hai. Ghar bhi chalana hai sir, ek bachhi ka baap hoon.” Ajay, in reply, had trolled Kapil and had said, “Bachhi badi ho ke yeh sab episodes dekhegi na, toh bohot maaregi.
