It is said that behind every successful man there is a woman! Well, this stands true for Kapil Sharma, who attained superstardom after tying the knot with Ginni Chatrath on December 12, 2018. Ginni has stood like a pillar of strength when Kapil saw his downfall and that is what made their relationship stronger. The duo were friends since their college days, and they came close when they participated in Star One’s show, Hans Baliye.
Recently, Kapil shared a promo video from a Punjabi chat show, wherein he was invited as a guest. In the video, we can see one of the hosts of the show asking him when did he realises of falling in love with his now-wife, Ginni. To this, Kapil said he still doesn't know when, how and why. Taking a funny dig, the other host, Ghuggi said that Kapil is sure that he has fallen in love, but looks like he isn't serious about it. On December 10, 2019, Kapil had entered a new phase in his life and welcomed his little angel with Ginni. The couple had lovingly named their baby girl, Anayra Sharma. The comedian had announced the arrival of his little princess on his Twitter handle. His tweet could be read as "Blessed to have a baby girl need ur blessings. Love you all. Jai mata di." On January 15, 2020, Kapil had introduced the future star of the 'Sharma' family to the world. He had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a first family picture with his daughter and her full picture. Alongside it, Kapil had revealed the name of his angel and had written, "Meet our piece of heart “Anayra Sharma”."
It was in July 2019 when Kapil had confirmed the news of his wife's pregnancy with the Mumbai Mirror and had shared, "I just want to take care of my wife and be by her side for now. We are obviously very excited as it's our first kid but my mother is the most excited. She has been waiting for this moment for years now. We are just praying for Ginni and the baby's health."
In a post-marriage interview with the Hindustan Times, Kapil had talked about parenthood and marriage, "Now that I am getting married, I think it was destined. I feel marriage is an essential part of our lives as it brings stability. Then the next phase is parenthood, which is another important step in a person’s life. I have seen people change after marriage, as they want to go home to be with their wives or kids. I want to experience it all as well. Being a bachelor, having your fun is good but only for a while. Later, it becomes routine and then you look for stability. I feel marriage is the best thing to happen to me."
