On October 24, 2021, people ringed in the festival of Karwa Chauth with full enthusiasm. On this day every year, married women and brides-to-be observe a day-long fast for the long lives of their partners, and pray for their well-being. The suhaagans get dressed up in beautiful traditional outfits, exquisite jewellery, and etch henna on their hands.
The gorgeous ladies of the tinsel town also celebrate this auspicious occasion with a lot of excitement, pomp and show. They share their beautiful images celebrating this special festival with their families and husbands. And one amongst those celebrities is the comedian, host, and actor, Kapil Sharma, who celebrated this festival in style with his wife, Ginni Chatrath.

On October 24, 2021, Kapil Sharma took to his Instagram handle and treated his fans with glimpses of his Karwa Chauth celebration at his home with his wife, Ginni Chatrath. Sharing the adorable pictures, the doting husband penned down a caption which can be read as:
“First photo shoot on mobile camera after marriage wish u all a very happy karwachauth from both of us @ginnichatrath”.

The adorable snapshots featured Kapil with his wife, Ginni, and they looked stylish as ever in their beautiful attires. While Kapil was clad in a black t-shirt paired with denim pants and a white jacket, on the other hand, Ginni opted for a gorgeous anarkali suit. In the pictures, the beautiful couple can be seen performing the Karwa Chauth rituals, with the moon shining in the background.

In one of the pictures, Ginni was seen looking at the moon through the sieve, and another one showed her with the puja thali in her hand. In the other pictures, she posed with her husband, Kapil Sharma, and the two looked adorable as they posed for the camera on their terrace. However, the picture showing Kapil planting a kiss on Ginni’s cheek stole our hearts.

For the unversed, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath were pronounced husband and wife on December 12, 2018, in Jalandhar. As Kapil and Ginni were to complete one year of their marital bliss in 2019, God had blessed them with the best gift of their lives. Kapil and Ginni had embraced parenthood two days before their first wedding anniversary and became proud parents to a baby girl, Anayra Sharma. Kapil and Ginni's family was completed with the arrival of their second child, Trishaan Sharma, in February 2021.
Kapil Sharma follows a rigorous schedule and continues to remain busy with his popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show. It was on their wedding anniversary that he was very busy with the shoots. So, the doting husband had shared a post about the same on his Instagram handle and had apologised to his wife, Ginni. Kapil had written:
“Sorry baby @ginnichatrath m working on our anniversary gift dena hai to kamana b to padega #happyanniversary my love u. see u in the evening.”
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, at the time of their marriage, Kapil had shared his views on marriage and had said that marriage was ‘the best thing that had happened to him’. Talking about the same, Kapil had shared:
"I feel marriage is an essential part in our lives as it brings stability. Then the next phase is parenthood, which is another important step in a person’s life. I have seen people change after marriage, as they want to go home to be with their wives or kids. I want to experience it all as well. Being a bachelor, having your fun is good but only for a while. Later, it becomes routine and then you look for stability. I feel marriage is the best thing to happen to me.”
