We are talking about none other than our very own, Comedy Nights with Kapil star, Kapil Sharma. For the latecomers, Kapil Sharma is all set to walk down the aisle with his long-time love, Ginni Chatrath on December 12, 2018, in former’s hometown, Punjab.
Prior to his wedding, Kapil has recently made a quick appearance on Indian television’s famous game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati season 10. In the promo of the show shared by Sony TV’s on their official page, we can see the two indulging in some seriously witty conversation. Kapil can be seen asking Mr Amitabh Bachchan for some marriage tips or a Guru Mantra for a successful married life, his reply to it is epic. When the comedian-turned-actor asked Amitabh ji to share some tips in order to make his wife happy, the Shahenshah replied that to keep your wife happy all you have to say is sorry before she utters even a word. Oh Oh! So, that means Amitabh Bachchan always apologises first before Jaya Bachchan. Quite interesting! For the uninitiated ones, it’s been 45 years that Amitabh ji and Jaya ji are married. Recently, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Kapil was quoted as saying, “Maine shaadi rokne ki bahut koshish ki, par kuch nahin hua (laughs). Jokes apart, I am ecstatic to be with Ginni and I know this marriage will be a huge change in my life. Discipline aayega. She takes good care of me and is a huge support in my life. People like me are surrounded by many people at work or events or otherwise, but when you come home, ghar khali lagta hai”. Revealing the details about their pre-wedding functions, a source was quoted as saying, “The celebrations will kick off with a Mata ka jagran at Kapil’s sister’s residence on December 10. This will be followed by a mehendi and sangeet ceremony at the bride’s place the next day. A five star has been booked for the big fat Punjabi wedding on December 12. Earlier when Kapil was asked about his wedding, he shared his unwillingness of the same and stated, “See, whatever has happened with me over the last few months, sometimes I doubt myself if I’m responsible enough. Yes, I’m a professional and doing a show but will I be able to manage all of it and marriage too? I keep telling Ginni that see, this is how I am, and we work like crazy people when we do. But I also feel that marriage is also in God’s hands. We can keep planning but honi hoti toh sarkar ne 21 saal ki umar rakhi hai, toh tab tak ho chuki hoti.”
