In her tweet, Kangana Ranaut clearly stated that South Indian actor, Rishab Shetty and gorgeous actress, Mrunal Thakur deserved to win the Best Actor and Best Actress awards at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards ceremony. The actress added that Rishabh and Mrunal’s performances in Kantara and Sita Raman respectively were worth the win. The actress also added that nepotism has snatched awards from deserving actors again. Her tweet can be read as:

"Awards season is here and nepo mafia is at it again, snatching all awards from the deserving talent. Here’s a list of some of those who displayed volcanic artistic brilliance and owned 2022. Best Actor -Rishab Shetty (Kantara), Best Actress-Mrunal Thakur (Sita Raman), (Cont)."

Kangana Ranaut picked SS Rajamouli as Best Director, called Vivek Agnihotri’s win a 'Big sham'

Further, in another tweet, Kangana Ranaut also shared she picked Anupam Kher as the Best Supporting Actor for Kashmir Files and named Tabu as Best Supporting Actress for her work in Drishyam and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
