And one celebrity couple from the television industry who is often in the news because of their alleged link-up is Kamya Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar. Kehta Hai Dil fame actress, Kamya and Bigg Boss 10 winner, Manveer are in an alleged relationship as per the reports. It’s Manveer Gurjar’s 31st birthday today and his alleged girlfriend, Kamya Punjabi wished him in the sweetest way possible on her Instagram handle. Kamya wrote, “Chhota sa gaon, simple si zindagi, ghar, pariwaar, naukri, kuch zimmedaariya aur kuch sapne... kabhi salman khan se milunga... kabhi yeh badi gaadi chalaounga... kabhi videsh jaounga... kabhi mera bhi naam hoga socho toh kya nahi hota... tumne socha aur kar dikhaya. Manveer took to his Instagram and in fact commented on Kamya’s post and wrote, “@panjabikamya Ji kitna kuch kah diya! Aap fan ho to hum Cooler hai aur mere Ghar wale to AC hai! Mere liye bht Badi baat hai Jinko TV par Dekha! Aaj Unko mujhe support hai! Thanks for everything.... aur Ek photo kya Sari Album aapki... thank uuuuu sssoooooo much ....”. Kamya and Manveer’s dating rumours started when Kamya won an award for her show, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and took to Instagram and wrote, “A big thank you to each one of you who voted for me and a very special thanks to very special someone @imanveergurjar love you guys... #preeto#gratitude #shakti #goldaward”.
Earlier, to a media portal, on being asked about her relationship with Manveer, Kamya had replied, “We are great friends and nothing else. While he was in the house, I supported him and appealed to my fans to vote for him. We met after he won Bigg Boss and formed a great rapport. From the time I got nominated for Gold Award, he has been constantly appealing for votes and got so many of his friends to vote for me. Thus, when I won, I thought of thanking him. He is really sweet and very special to me”.
On being probed further and asked if this could turn into love, Kamya was quoted as saying, “Not at all. In bold letters, we are only FRIENDS, so do not read more to that. For the uninitiated ones, it must be mentioned here that Kamya was earlier in a serious relationship with the famous TV actor, Karan Patel. However, they parted ways in January 2015. Within a few months after their breakup, Karan got married to Ankita Bhargava.
As harsh as it may sound, this is what Kamya said about Karan’s marriage, “Neither Ankita is my best friend nor Karan is my boyfriend. So what happens between them stays between them. Whether their marital life has hit a rough patch or is going smooth is something I am unaware, unaffected and least bothered about! Usually, people know what they want in life, but I very well know what all I do not want in life, and Karan Patel tops that list! I do not want Karan Patel back in my life anytime! The guy who walks out of someone’s life suddenly and is seen to be with another woman in just two days is someone who does not deserve to be taken back! Rather no woman would take a similar man back in her life”.
It must also be mentioned here that Kamya was earlier married to Bunty Negi, but the two got divorced in 2013. Kamya is now a single parent to her daughter, Aara, and is allegedly in a relationship with Manveer Gurjar.
