Kalki Koechlin Shares A Video Of Herself Singing A Portuguese Lullaby For Her Baby Doll, Sappho

Bollywood actress, Kalki Koechlin and her beau, Guy Hershberg's whole world had taken a 180 degree turn when a little angel had arrived in their lives. February 7, 2020, was the lucky day when Kalki had become a mother and had welcomed her baby girl, Sappho in her life. Ever since then, the loving mommy keeps sharing excerpts of her lovely moments with her little bundle of joy on her social media, and its an absolute delight to the eyes. To announce the arrival of her little cotton ball, Kalki had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared the footprints of her baby doll. And had written a heartfelt note along with it, which could be read as "Please welcome Sappho. Born in 07/02/20. She just spent 9 months wrapped up like a momo in my uterus. Let's give her some space. Thank you for all the good wishes and positive energy pouring in. And respect to all the women who go through the intense and gruesome experience of birth, be it vaginal or c section, so many of whom are not given credit or support for the biggest challenges they face, but are expected to do it out of some kind of duty. The process takes a huge toll both psychological and physical and should have the backing of an entire community to truly heal."

On April 28, 2020, Kalki took to her Instagram handle to share a very beautiful and heart-warming video of herself singing a sweet, Portuguese lullaby for her daughter, as she lays in her cot and looks intently at her mommy. The soothing, calming music of this lullaby is everything we need to hear today. Kalki shared the video with the caption, "This is a Portuguese lullaby I learnt when playing the Portuguese character Tara in the web series ' Smoke' Watch out for the sparrows who make an appearance in our song." In fact, this is not the first time Kalki has shared a video herself singing lullaby to her daughter. The doting mommy, time and again keeps sharing pictures and videos of herself playing with her little doll. On April 18, 2020, Kalki Koechlin had taken to her Instagram handle to share a video in which she could be seen singing an African lullaby for her little bundle of joy.  She had captioned the video as “O lele Started learning the uke when I was pregnant to play songs for my baby. It's worked out well, Sappho either gets excited or falls asleep to them. This African lullaby was one of the first songs I learnt from an album called Songs of the Baobab. The doting mommy leaves no chance to shower love on her little doll, Sappho and keeps posting her adorable pictures on her social media. On April 5, 2020, Kalki had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared yet another very cute picture of her baby girl. In the picture, we could see, Sappho flashing her cute smile and melting hearts all at once. The adorable picture was clicked by her beau, Guy Hershberg. The actress had captioned the picture as "Covid times #loveatfirstsmile @guyhershberg".
