Daughter of veteran actress, Tanuja Samarth and late filmmaker, Shomu Mukherjee, Kajol has always proved that acting is in her genes. On August 5, 2021, Kajol turned 47 and received warm wishes from her fans. On the occasion of her birthday, Kajol obliged her fans' requests and cut her birthday cake with them. The video went viral on social media and netizens bashed the actress, calling her rude and ghamandi. In the video, Kajol was seen dressed in a white gown with mask on her mask. She maintained her distance and refused to eat the piece of cake offered to her.
