Kajol and Ajay are doting parents to two children, Nysa and Yug, and they make for one amazing family. This family of four was recently on a vacation in London and Kajol shared some memorable moments from their trip on her social media handle. Ajay, Kajol, Nysa and Yug are back in the city and were snapped at the airport by the paparazzi.
While Ajay donned a black avatar, Kajol wore a blue outfit with a grey stole. But the one who caught our attention and stole the limelight from his parents is Kajol and Ajay’s little one, Yug. While the paparazzi was clicking the family, the star kid gave the funniest expressions. Yug was surely enjoying the media attention to which he gave hilarious poses. On the other hand, Kajol and Nysa were amused at his antics and literally went “Yuggggggg” at his naughtiness. Check out the video here:
In a throwback interview, Kajol talked about being an overprotective mother in real-life, and said, “I think every mother is over protective. I think children are the one thing you cannot fail at. You can fail at lot of things in life, your career, marriage and still handle it with certain amount of dignity and grace. But I think when you fail your kids, it’s very difficult to take in, get over or even come to terms with.” About mollycoddling her kids, she revealed, “I’m mollycoddling my kids. May be not to that extent... But I am taking full advantage of them while they’re young, to coddle them, to kiss them, hug them... you know.”
Sharing an incident when Yug asked her why she goes to work, Kajol was quoted as saying, “You know why I’m going to work? I’m going to work so that when you grow up you’re going to get married and you’re going to get married and you’re going to look at women and you’re going to realise that woman who go to work is just another normal thing in your life. It’s not a phenomenon it is nothing to stand up again, it’s just another regular feature in your life. Kajol also expressed her concern about Nysa being bothered by paparazzi and media. She stated, "That does trouble me when I think about my own daughter and she has gone through a lot of complete nonsense. She has to have security when she goes out in Bombay and you know I've had people stop her at airports and stuff like that too, 'Let's take a selfie.'"
Kajol confessed that her kids have a strong influence on her, and she has learnt a lot from them. Kajol revealed, "I learn a lot from my kids, I think I have been learning since the time I got pregnant with Nysa. It was one of those life changing moments for me. It changed me in the nicest way possible. The way kids see the world is unfiltered. They change your perspective towards life. My kids have been amazing teachers. My daughter gives me super one-liners, it’s like sometimes when we are chatting, she suddenly throws a line and it makes me realise that… oh, this is so true and it makes so much sense. Both, Nysa and Yug have the ability to see through a lot of bullshit… thank God for that.”
Kajol shared that among the two, Ajay pampers their kids more than her. She remarked, "I think Ajay is better than me at pampering the kids for sure. He is much better than me at pampering the kids.” While Ajay believes otherwise, “I pamper my kids but there are always limits to it. I am very conscious about the rules and their daily routine of sleep and food timing, so he is definitely the one who pampers the kids." On the professional front, Ajay is shooting for Akiv Ali's directorial debut with Rakul Preet Singh, while Kajol is busy promoting her upcoming film Helicopter Eela online.
