Karan Johar's popular celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan 7 has garnered a lot of attention since it got aired. Until now, the show has been graced by celebrities like, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon, Tiger Shroff, Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and more. However, amidst all this, netizens have dug out an old episode of the show featuring popular actress, Kajol and filmmaker, Ayan Mukerji.
For the unversed, Kajol is married to actor, Ajay Devgn, and the couple is blessed with two kids, Nysa and Yug. She has proved her mettle in acting in films like, Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name Is Khan, Fanaa, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, etc. Moreover, she holds the record of winning the highest number of Best Actress awards, besides receiving numerous accolades.

Recently, a clip from an old episode of Karan Johar's show, Koffee With Karan 4, featuring Kajol and her cousin and filmmaker, Ayan Mukerji has been doing rounds on the internet. However, what is worth noting is that yet again, Kajol has come under netizens' scrutiny over her deaf-tone comment about her ring and being rich. In the video, we can see that on being asked by KJo that why she had never experimented with her roles or played a village girl in any film, the Tribhanga actress said that she doesn't look poor. In Kajol's words:
"You know I decided very early on that I just look rich. I don't look poor. Whatever I do at the end of the day, even if I'm wearing a Ghaghra Choli at one point of time, which I was wearing in Hulchul. I looked at myself and said, 'You know, I don't look poor from any... I don't look with my rings and my this thing and my Om ring that could probably buy god knows how many people over... houses over..."
Responding to this, Karan said, "Kajol, I think you're quite wrong. I think you have a self-elevation opinion of yourself. Because I want to tell you, you have looked quite poor in a few films." However, Kajol's statement didn't sit well with the internet users who ended up trolling her for the same. One of the user said, "Goes on to buy chindi stuff from Amazon as told by her husband Zuban Kesari in another KWK episode", while another commented, "I agree with karan. She definitely has a self elevation opinion of herself. Also ghagra choli is something rich people also wear...... so I don't get her point."

However, this is not the first time that netizens have trolled Kajol. A few days ago, the actress was spotted with her son, Yug, at a restaurant in Mumbai. The actress had donned a floral-printed top with black slacks and sunglasses. However, the internet community had ridiculed Kajol for her appearance, particularly her sunglasses. One of the users had commented, "Kala chshma utar deti to pkd kr nahi laani pdti", while another had said, "Mental...Sun glasses at night".
