With Kajol being the bubbly one, Ajay has time and again shared in interviews that he is a silent listener! The duo is #CoupleGoals to every level and apart from the fab 'permanent roommate' they make together, they are also the best when it comes to raising their children. The awesome foursome lot consisting of Kajol, Ajay, Nysa and Yug make for a very happy family and it is solely due to the efforts taken by the former two, to ensure that their children are not swayed away by fame and glitz.
In an interview with the Filmfare, Kajol talked about the struggles of her parents that she had witnessed very closely. Talking specifically about managing finances, the actress shared that she is careful about the wheres and hows she spends her money. And just like every Indian mom ever, Kajol also ensures that she asks her kids for 'hisaab', whenever they head out and revealed their reaction to the same. She shared in the interview, "Whenever my kids go out, I ask them for a hisaab. They get annoyed but they have to give me an account." Kajol further added, "It's important for them to understand the value of money. I tell them that it's because of their parents' profession that they're flying class. So you have to accept it." In yet another interview with the Filmfare, Ajay Devgn bared it all out about parenting and the values he wants to inculcate in his children. He shared, "I spend a lot of time with my children. I want them to be true and honest to themselves. If they're honest to themselves, they'll be honest with us. I want them to respect others and themselves. I tell them that every day. That covers everything. If you respect yourself, you carry yourself with dignity. When you respect others, you uphold your culture. That's the basic foundation." Nysa Devgn is currently studying in Singapore and her star parents, Kajol and Ajay Devgn, time and again share how much they miss her. It was last year when we had shared with you, based on a Mumbai Mirror report that Nysa’s star parents were recceing for an apartment in one of the posh areas in the island-city. As per the report, the couple had found an accommodation suitable to Nysa on Orchard Road. It was also reported that although Nysa’s school has boarding facilities, the star kid is a quiet child and hence, prefers staying on her own. The gorgeous teen was expected to move into her new apartment in 2019.
Being a star kid, media and limelight is a larger part of their upbringing. Speaking about media glare and paparazzi pressure on her kids, Kajol had spoken in an interview with the PTI, "Ajay and I made a conscious decision to keep our children away from the media. We feel we want to keep them away from the pressure, from the unnecessary burden which will come on them. I don't want that to happen. They shouldn't be under pressure by the media, public or even unknowingly by me, to become something. With reference to Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan being chased by the paparazzi, this is what Kajol had shared with the Mid-Day, “If something like this were to happen with Nysa or Yug, I’d be infuriated. It’s sad that the Indian paparazzi has reached a stage where it can do this to a kid. What happened with her sounds like bullying to me. We are stars; it’s our job to accept all of that. But to be doing that to someone who is nothing more than an impressionable teenager is harassing her in plain words. They should be more responsible when it comes to dealing with our kids. We signed up for this, they didn’t.”
