In an interview with Filmibeat, the newly-wedded actress, Kajal Aggarwal was asked whether she will take her husband, Gautam Kitchlu's surname or not. The gorgeous wifey revealed that she has already decided to take her hubby's surname, and as for now, she is in the process of getting used to her new surname, Kitchlu. She said, "(It is) Wonderful, but I am still acclimatising. I am getting used to being called Mrs Kitchlu. Although, I love the sound of it. Going further in the interview, Kajal also addressed the much-debated question of whether an actress' professional career ends after her marriage or not. On which, Kajal stated that time has changed and she will continue to do the things, she was doing before, and no criticism will ever push her to change her identity. She stated, "I think people need to change their perspective on this subject as well. Like I was emphasising in my letter about various other subjects. I don't believe in this particular approach. I feel like, if you worked all your life to get to a certain level, you need to maintain that. This is my identity, and I would like to continue this."
For the uninitiated, Kajal Aggarwal's husband, Gautam Kitchlu is the founder of Discern Living and is an interior, tech and design enthusiast. Discern Living is an e-commerce venture for interior design and home decor solutions.
