The actor did not shy away from opening up about his personal relationships. Starting from his split with his ex-wife, Protima, heartbreak with actress, Parveen Babi, and enduring the pain of losing his son, Siddharth Bedi, to suicide, the actor has seen a lot in his life.

In an interview with Zoom Digital, Kabir Bedi shared how his ex-wife, Nikki reacted to his autobiography and stated that she loved the book. He said, "I am quite amused by the response from reviewers. Even my ex-wife Nikki loved the book. The family loved the book."
In the interview, when Kabir Bedi was asked about one thing that he would like to change, he was quick to say that he would not trust people as he did in the past. He explained, "I would not trust people as I did in the past. People whom I was close to betrayed me and I suffered greatly. I would change two things. I would change the way I am with money. you need to be risky as it is a risky industry. I would change the way I handled money."

Going further in the interview, the veteran actor shared that he did not want to sugarcoat the truth as his book was not just about his milestones, but also about his failures and regrets. He stated, "Once I decided to write my book, whether I wanted to sugar coat it or tell it like it is, was a choice. The real story of my life was not just about my milestones but also about my mistakes. It was also about my regrets. Once I decided to tell it, I told it."
A few days back, his granddaughter, Alaya Furniturewalla, had hosted an IG LIVE with her nanu, Kabir Bedi. In the Live session, the veteran actor opened up about his regret of not spending much quality time with his daughter, Pooja Bedi and son, late Siddharth Bedi, in their childhood. However, he had tried his best to keep in touch with them as he had divorced his wife, Protima Bedi and not his kids.
