On May 1, 2019, the couple made headlines with their elopement news. And everyone was gushing over their 15-minute Christian ceremony at the Chapel L’Amour, a room in A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Sophie and Joe are popularly called Jophie by their fans and today, they took the plunge in front of their family and relatives in France.
However, it is Sophie and Joe's majestic wedding venue that has left our jaws dropped. They are staying in a castle, Chateau de Tourreau, in France that has 9 bedrooms, and 9 bathrooms. It is the most exquisite property and the beauty of it will leave you mesmerised. We got hold of beautiful pictures from the Jonas family and the bride, Sophie from their ceremony. And oh boy, oh boy, it took our breath away. For the wedding, our desi girl and Nick's wife, Priyanka wore a pink Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree while Nick wore a black tuxedo. And the bride, Sophie looked gorgeous in a traditional white gown. Coming back to their May wedding, in an interview with People magazine, Priyanka had split the beans of it. She had revealed, “I was a bridesmaid and a flower girl. Double duty.” She had further shared, "All I say is it’s such a Joe and Sophie thing to do. I mean, trust them to pull something like this off. They’re so carefree, so fun, and this is so representative of who they are, you know? Talking more about the wedding the entire world had eyed on, Priyanka had revealed in an interview with Access, “It was really funny. We were at the Billboards. Joe, I think, had this idea that he wanted to do this. We were at the Billboards and he had these little black cards that we all got. We were randomly inviting our friends, people that we met. We were like, ‘Alright, we’re going to set up this wedding now, we’re going to the chapel right from here, and please arrive.’ We had Diplo, Khalid, they were really sweet, they arrived. In an interview, the bride, Sophie had revealed that she wanted to keep her May wedding a secret, and had shared, "I think at some point I would have had to stop saying 'fiancé', but yes, I would have kept it a secret. Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that’s how it should always be. It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the food. It’s about being husband and wife, and is dedicated to each other forever."
