Jaya Bachchan's video went viral, wherein her upset side with her bahu, Aishwarya's mother was recorded on camera at an event. In the said clip that is making rounds on the internet, Jaya Bachchan looked upset with her family, and netizens claim that she even pushed away her bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's mother, Brindya Rai's hand. The video is from the year 2014, as Bachchan's arrived for the trailer launch event hosted by Deepika Padukone and Rajinikanth.
The video was shared on Reddit, wherein Jaya was seen making her way to join Aishwarya's mother, Brindya Rai to pose for the paps. However, she looked upset and irritated, and when Aishwarya's mother tried to put her hand on her back, Jaya pulled Vrinda's hand away and simply stood next to her.
To be noted: According to reports, in the original video, which was shared on YouTube, Jaya held on to Vrinda's hand for a bit before the latter pulled it away on her own.

As soon as the video was uploaded on Reddit, netizens flooded the comments section with their own point of view. One user got reminded of their own mother-in-law. Another wrote, "OMG, we have the MILs from the same planet then. Disrespecting me and my family on a daily basis is her hobby." One netizen also wrote, "Ash's mom was hurt, but she handled it. Ash's parents/ family has always been so dignified. Had Jaya been my MIL she would think twice before handling my mom like this."
However, one user pointed out that the video was an edited version to make Jaya Bachchan look bad. The user wrote:
"Actually the video is edited to look like this. There's the whole video somewhere down in the comments where it shows how Jaya held the hand and then let it go."
