Confirming the happy news, elated newbie daddy Jay was quoted as saying, "Yes, I have turned a proud daddy to a baby girl." As we all know, on May 17, 2018, it was a special acknowledgement day for dear papas and the day happened to be Jay’s first Father’s Day. In an interview earlier, Jay Soni shared his feelings about parenthood with Bombay Times and said, "The baby is due in April. I didn't disclose the news earlier, as we are not allowed to share it till the first trimester is completed. I am extremely excited." Jay also expressed his love for the kids, and stated, “I love kids. They are like a stress buster for me. I can literally spend the whole day with a kid. So, it feels great to know that we’ll soon have a kid of our own. Jay and Pooja have a very interesting love story as they met each other through their families in an arranged marriage set up. Soon after this, the cupid struck them and they fell for each other. The lovebirds tied the knot on February 18, 2014. In fact, he also shared the reason for opting arranged marriage route. In an interview earlier, he said, “The only reason why I opted for an arranged marriage is that I want a simple girl who would lead a happy life. I also want to settle down and career will take its own natural course.”
