One of the popular actors and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby fame, Jay Soni, took the wedding vows with a girl named, Pooja who had no ties with the television and/or film industry. The couple had an arranged marriage and entered the holy bliss of matrimony on February 18, 2014, after exchanging the rings in October 2013. After enjoying their marital life for four years, Jay and Pooja welcomed their first baby – a baby girl on April 18, 2018. The elated newbie papa., Jay Soni, went for a dinner date with the two most important women of his life. Yes, you read that right! Jay spent some quality time with wife Pooja Soni and his two-and-a-half-month-old baby girl. The doting papa himself shared the pic on his Instagram story and wrote, “2 girls in one date.” Here’s the picture:
Confirming the good news of the arrival of a new member in their family, Jay was quoted as saying, "Yes, I have turned a proud daddy to a baby girl." He also went on to share his feelings on becoming a father for the first time. He had earlier told this to the Bombay Times, "The baby is due in April. I didn't disclose the news earlier, as we are not allowed to share it till the first trimester is completed. I am extremely excited." On the occasion of Father’s Day, Jay shared the first picture of the little one. In the picture, we can see his little bundle of joy, holding his finger. Expressing his love for kids in an interview earlier, the Sasural Genda Phool actor quipped, “I love kids. They are like a stress buster for me. I can literally spend the whole day with a kid. So, it feels great to know that we’ll soon have a kid of our own. I can’t express, it’s just that we are waiting for that moment to hold the baby in our hands.” Not just this, the actor and the then elated father-to-be revealed the kind of papa he would be for his baby. Jay was quoted as saying, “I’ll be a very cool and chilled father. I’m overprotective by nature, so that’ll be there.
