Now, in a recent interview, Janhvi finally opened up about her dating life.
Late actress, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughters, Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, prefer to keep their private lives under wraps. However, despite being private star kids, the sibling duo is always under the constant media spotlight. Janhvi and Khushi are fashionistas, and the stylish duo makes heads turn wherever they go. Moreover, they have a huge fanbase on their social media handles, who adore them.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about the worst thing that she read about herself and revealed that it was the rumours that she was dating her childhood friend, Akshat Ranjan. She also clarified that neither she nor her sister, Khushi Kapoor has dated Akshat, who they have known since they were kids. In her words:
“That I was dating Akshat Rajan, who is my childhood best friend, and then I broke up with him and now Khushi is dating him. None of us ever dated him. He has just been our bestest friend since we were babies.”
As per the latest reports, Janhvi Kapoor has been rumoured to be dating her friend, Orhan Awatramani. However, in the same interview, Janhvi seemed to deny it as she claimed that she is single right now. When the actress was asked that if her name wouldn’t have been Janhvi, what would she have liked to be called, she quipped, 'Laila'. However, when she was further asked if she is Laila, then who her Majnu is, she said:
“No Majnu. My audience is the Majnu. Yes. I am single.”
Earlier in an interview with Film Companion, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about her sister, Khushi Kapoor’s debut and gave her some dating advice. She asked her not to bother about what the faceless people say on Instagram and added that she should know her worth. She could be quoted as saying:
“Don’t date an actor. Just because I think the kind of girls I and she are, I just think it would be better, Know your worth. Know that you have something to offer, despite what faceless people on Instagram might say…That’s her battle to fight. More than just her pedigree."
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen next in the film, Mili.
