After a successful run of 5 seasons, Koffee with Karan will witness yet another sizzling bandwagon of confessions and conjectures. Yes, after Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan, half-siblings, Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor sipped steaming cups of coffee on Karan’s couch. Arjun has had multiple appearances on the show but for Jahnvi, this will be her first legit appearance not only on Koffee with Karan but on any talk show. Host Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and sharing the following picture from the shooting, wrote, “The #koffeewithkaran sibling episode! Was so lovely to chat with this hysterical brother-sister duo!!! @arjunkapoor @janhvikapoor”.
The sibling-duo also shared the candid moments on their social media handles. Janhvi Kapoor posted the following picture and captioned it as, “With the Koffee legend @arjunkapoor. Thank you @karanjohar for having us!! So much fun".
Namastey England actor, Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Just what I needed in the middle of my chaos. A reminder of what matters most to me now. Family. So, it’s confirmed now that Arjun and Janhvi will be appearing together on KwK S6. Earlier, reports suggested that this dynamic duo will make it to the first episode of this season. An insider revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “It’s going to be a special episode as it marks their first joint appearance, in which they open up about their relationship”. Another source told BollywoodLife, “This is Janhvi's debut on the show and who better to partner with her than Arjun. They are quite attached to each other and he is literally a pillar of strength for her. It will be fun to see them spilling each other's secrets”. And also added, “He shares a special bond with Janhvi. Like Alia, she too is a Dharma protege and he is extremely protective about her. So far, we have not seen much of siblings on the show and this will be a change”.
It would be interesting to see these two on Koffee with Karan. Apart from sizzling confessions, we are also excited to see how Arjun and Janhvi’s equation unfolds during the conversation, after all, Arjun has been her biggest support since Sridevi’s demise.
In an interview that Janhvi did a while ago, she spoke reverently of Arjun and said, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi]. It’s a family dynamic that I relish. I am very thankful for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother and a better sister. They have given us a lot of strength. He is a very wise man and has given tips like, ‘just be honest, be yourself and be respectful towards people.’ Somehow, when he says it, I take it like the gospel truth”.
A couple of days ago, Karan Johar shared another pic from the Koffee with Karan Season 6 set in which we could see Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan gracing his couch. Sharing the following pic, he wrote, “Today was day 1 for the shoot of #koffeewithkaran ! Shot with the extremely hilarious and supremely bright and sensitive father daughter duo! #saifalikhan and @saraalikhan95”.
