Popular actress, Jacqueline Fernandez is once again in the headlines after she made some shocking revelations about conman, Sukesh Chandrasekhar during her latest hearing at Delhi’s Patiala Court. The actress shared numerous statements about Sukesh in the Rs. 200 crores money laundering case in the hearing. The diva admitted that the conman tricked her and destroyed her acting career.
The actress submitted a plea at the court in order to seek permission to travel abroad for her projects. Thus, it was on January 18, 2023, when Jacqueline Fernandez was present at Delhi's Patiala Court for the hearing of her plea and made some shocking statements about Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The actress made seven statements in court through which she explained how he managed to fool her.
The actress admitted that when she had met Sukesh Chandrasekhar for the first time, he introduced himself as a government officer. Jacqueline Fernandez also took Pinky Irani’s name in her statement and added that she also supported Sukesh’s claim of being a government official. Thus, she believed him, and in another meeting, Sukesh told Jacqueline that he was a family relative of the famous politician, late Jayalalithaa. On top of that, the conman also claimed to be the owner of Sun TV. She said:
"Chandrashekhar said he was a big fan, and said I should do films in south India too, and as the owner of Sun TV, they had many projects lined up. We should try to work together in south Indian movies. Sukesh misled me, ruined my career and my livelihood."
Moving on in her statements in the court, Jacqueline Fernandez also shared her pain about not knowing about Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s real identity and how Pinky Irani misled her. The actress admitted that the conman had ruined her life and career. An emotional Jacqueline also added that Sukesh has made fun of her trust in him and made her life hell. She also opened up about the time when he called her from jail. Jacqueline shared that she was unaware of the fact that he was in jail as every time he used to call her, there were curtains and a sofa in the background.
The actress also addressed the talks of Sukesh Chandrasekhar gifting a private jet to her. In response to the same, she rejected the reports and clarified that she had only travelled on two occasions in his private jet. Recalling the same and adding how he arranged a helicopter for her when she was in Kerala, Jacqueline said:
"On the two occasions when I met him in Chennai, I travelled in his private jet."
