Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi are both speculated to have received expensive gifts worth crores from the conman with criminal records, Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The Bollywood divas, Jacqueline and Nora have been grilled by the Enforcement Department for months. However, as Nora filed a severe defamation case against Jacqueline, the events took an ugly turn.
In a recent interview with the ETimes, Jacqueline Fernandez’s lawyer, Prashant Patil reacted to Nora Fatehi’s claims. Since Nora accused Jacqueline of defaming her for malicious reasons with an intent to destroy her career to further her own interests, Jacqueline’s lawyer came up with a befitting reply. In the interview, he held that Jacqueline has never spoken ill about Nora, and if she gets dragged to the court, then they will respond to it legally.

In the same conversation, Prashant Patil cleared the air and revealed that Jacqueline never had any intent to destroy Nora’s career. He also said that any statement that had been said during judiciary proceedings could not be said in the media. Taking a slight dig at Nora, he mentioned that quoting anybody’s reply, which was filed before the adjudicating authority, is a matter of pure judicial proceeding. He said:
“Utmost respect for Nora. There definitely has been some sort of miscommunication.”
On October 14, 2022, Jacqueline Fernandez got an interim bail in the money laundering case. And she made a rare public appearance at an event in Mumbai. Though she had looked beautiful in a mustard yellow saree, netizens brutally trolled the actress for her alleged link with conman, Sukesh Chandrasekhar. In the post's comment section, one user wrote, “Khale dhan wali safed heroine,” another netizen commented, “Isko wapas bhej do Sri Lanka.”

If an old report of NavBharat Times is to be believed, Jacqueline Fernandez was planning to marry Sukesh Chandrasekhar, even after knowing his criminal history. She had decided to overlook all his past mistakes and start a family with him. In an interview with ANI, Special Commissioner of Police - EOW (Economic Offences Wing), Ravinder Yadav addressed the same issue and had said:
"Jacqueline Fernandez has more trouble as she did not break up with Sukesh Chandrasekhar even after knowing his criminal history."
