Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar are on cloud nine currently since they are all set to welcome their first child together. For the unversed, the duo got married in 2020 and recently announced the happiest news of their lives. And now, Zaid’s father and legendary music composer, Ismail Darbar, has opened up and shared his feelings about this great news.
While the parents-to-be are quite ecstatic about this new phase in their lives, the would- be- dadu is no less excited and cannot wait to hold their bundle of joy in his arms. In an exclusive interview with the Times of India, Ismail Darbar reacted to the lovely news and said:
“I am extremely happy that Gauahar and Zaid are going to become parents and I will be a grandfather for the first time. Main dada banne wala hoon and this will be the most joyous occasion in our lives. I pray for a healthy baby... aur uska naseeb bulund ho. Everyone works hard, but blessings and dua are most important to have a good life, so I want my grandchild to have a life, which is blessed.”

Well, this lovely news was shared by both Gauahar and Zaid via a collaborative post on their IG handle. The news was announced in the cutest way ever, as it featured caricatures of the couple in an adorable video. Along with the video, the mom and dad-to-be penned a heartfelt note as they sought the blessings of their fans and well-wishers in their new journey ahead.
Well, as per ETimes, the latest report suggested that Gauahar is five months pregnant at the moment, and her delivery date is expected to be due any time in April 2023. However, there has been no official confirmation from the actress about the same.

Gauahar is quite a workaholic by nature and knows the perfect way to balance her personal life and work. For instance, just a day after announcing her pregnancy, Gauahar took to her IG stories on December 21, 2022, and shared a glimpse of herself en route to her pending work schedules. Donning a casual avatar, she shed some amazing pregnancy glow in her picture.
