Ishita Dutta is currently basking in the happiness of the most beautiful phase of her life, as she is all set to embrace motherhood for the first time. For the unversed, Ishita and her hubby, Vatsal Sheth are expecting their first child after six years of marital bliss. Being a social butterfly, Ishita has been sharing with her fans various updates about her pregnancy journey so far, and her recent one showcases the actress dealing with some other realities of pregnancy.
Taking to her IG handle a few moments back, Ishita Dutta dropped a picture of her feet as they appeared to be swollen, which is a normal realistic phenomenon of pregnancy. Atop the picture, Ishita captioned it as ‘pregnancy life’ and then revealed that she would require a pedicure treatment and bigger shoes to adjust to her new requirements.

Right from making the announcement of her pregnancy, Ishita Dutta has been open to share various anecdotes and experiences of her pregnancy journey. For instance, in one of her earlier interviews with ETimes, Ishita revealed how her soon-to-be-born baby has already been giving her sleepless nights and kicks most of the time at night. As a result, she ends up staying awake all night. In her words:
“This new phase of my life has been very beautiful, interesting and different to be honest. The best part of what I have to say would be feeling the 'kicks', I have always heard about it but I think only when you feel it yourself you realize how beautiful it is. Funnily enough it mostly happens at night, so I don't usually get to sleep in the night because the little one doesn't like sleeping at night."
Apart from the regular changes in the body that a woman goes through during pregnancy, there are also several mood swings as well a desire for a different appetite. Mommy-to-be also went through the same and once gave a glimpse of satiating her unusual pregnancy cravings by relishing delicious samosas. Dropping a glimpse of the same on her IG stories, she captioned it as:

While the parents-to-be, Vatsal and Ishita are enjoying every moment of their new journey, they decided to add on to it by acquiring a new house, that would suit the current needs of the couple as well as make space for their soon-to-be-born child. In a recent interview with ETimes, Ishita opened up on the same and revealed how after performing their Grihapravesh ceremony in their new abode, they changed their decision of shifting on later and instead decided on doing it as soon as possible. In her words:
“We have been hunting for a new house for almost a year and found a nice 3BHK apartment near our old home in Juhu. Initially we thought of moving after the baby arrives but then we felt that it was better to move now and let the baby enjoy the space as he or she grows up.”
Much like any other excited mommy-to-be, Ishita Dutta recently got her most-awaited maternity photoshoot done and dropped some oh-so-gorgeous glimpses from the same. Taking to her IG handle on May 20, 2023, Ishita had dropped a stunning video from the same where she looked glowing in a lavender-hued ruched dress, as she adorably flaunted her baby bump. She teamed her look with a bracelet and donned dewy makeup and open hair.
