Just like the film, we have seen numerous instances when two people, working together in a film or show had fallen for each other and are living their ‘happily ever after’ journeys. One such couple is Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta, who though had not fallen in love on the sets of their show, Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar, but it had marked the beginning of their forever friendship which eventually transformed into a lifelong commitment of marriage. The crush of every 90s kid, Just Mohabbat fame, Vatsal Sheth had tied the knot with Drishyam star, Ishita Dutta in a low-key wedding on November 28, 2017, at the ISKCON Temple in Juhu, Mumbai. Reportedly, Vatsal and Ishita had signed a no-dating clause in their contract for the show, Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar and after the serial ended, they used to meet and that’s when the Cupid had struck them. Though hailing from the entertainment industry, Vatsal and Ishita prefer keeping their personal life private and not much is known about how love had blossomed between them, who proposed for marriage first, their married life and a lot more.
Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta often delight their fans with beautiful glimpses of their personal life through their social media profiles, and now, the latter spilt some beans about her love and married life with the man of her dreams. In an interview with Bollywood Town, Ishita was asked, “When and how did you come closer to each other?” To which, she retorted, “We met each other on the sets of our show called Baazigar. We instantly connected and became friends. Once the show got over we would meet often, we would go out for dinner and coffee with common friends or sometimes just the two of us. We realized that we liked each other and soon after that we started dating.”
Revealing who proposed first for marriage, Ishita Dutta said, “Vatsal was the one who proposed marriage first. I was completely shocked and I had no idea as we had never discussed marriage till then. I was pleasantly surprised and well it took me some time to realize what he was saying. I said yes the same day and our parents met in a few days and within a few months, we got married.” Speaking on if she feels differences in her life, before and after marriage, Ishita continued, “I would say things have changed slightly, both of us lived with our parents so managing house related stuff was a little difficult and I remember the first year I was all over the place but now we both have managed things pretty well. When asked to share the one best quality she likes in her spouse, Vatsal Sheth, Ishita Dutta remarked, “There are so many things that I love about him. He is extremely honest and very very supportive. He is always encouraging me to do things better. He is always there for me, makes me laugh, is caring and he gives me a lot of space. He respects and understands me. There is so much that I love about Vatsal, I can go on and on.” Speaking about a memorable incident from their lockdown diaries, Ishita added, “We definitely made the most of the lockdown. We spent so much time with family and with each other as normally when we are shooting we just don't get to see each other because of our crazy schedules. I got to know so much more about him. We have cooked together, cleaned together, we made funny videos and Infact he directed his first short film and music video. I also started painting again so yes we made full use of our lockdown.”
To mark Karwa Chauth 2020, Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta had posted some super sweet pictures with each other from the celebrations. Vatsal and Ishita’s celebration pictures were all about a ‘Happy’ Karwa Chauth. While Ishita had donned a beautiful pink-coloured embroidered saree, Vatsal had complemented his wife in a black kurta. But the pictures had left their fans wondering if Ishita was pregnant. In the same interview, when Ishita was asked if her fans can expect any good news this year, she replied, “No good news. Not anytime soon.
