Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta are living the best phase of their lives now. The couple is waiting with bated breath to welcome their little one into their lives as Ishita is pregnant with their first child. Moreover, ahead of the arrival of their soon-to-be-born baby, the couple doubled their happiness by purchasing a new home and have already performed the mandatory Grihapravesh ceremony for the same. And now, the busy couple spilled beans on their decision to shift to their new home soon enough.
In an interview with ETimes, Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta opened up on their happiness on having to shift to their new home, which is all set and prepped to welcome their child. For the unversed, the couple had purchased a lavish 3BHK apartment in Juhu and it was a few days back that they even performed the Grihapravesh ceremony in it. Revealing how the couple changed their earlier decision of moving in to their new home after the birth of their child, and instead decided to move in at the earliest, Ishita mentioned:
“We have been hunting for a new house for almost a year and found a nice 3BHK apartment near our old home in Juhu. Initially we thought of moving after the baby arrives but then we felt that it was better to move now and let the baby enjoy the space as he or she grows up.”

Going further in the interaction, Vatsal Sheth added on hilarious jibe where he revealed that the third room in their new apartment, which he was previously eyeing to be reserved just for his reading purposes has now been changed and is set to belong to their soon-to-be-born baby. Sharing how he particularly is fond of the balcony in their new home, Vatsal added:
“The third room was reserved for me. I wanted to make it my reading room, where I could just chill and do everything, but it now belongs to our baby. My favourite place in the apartment is the balcony, where I enjoy sipping my coffee all the time.”
In the last segment of their interview, Ishita Dutta added how the couple decided to do the interiors of their new home in a very minimalistic way, and highlighted how they plan to keep the theme of all the rooms strictly pastel. Additionally, she also mentioned their planning for the baby’s room and revealed their plan of minimal furniture to accommodate more space in their abode. In her words:
“The décor is minimalistic and we like it that way. Of course, we are yet to do the interiors fully, but we have chosen a pastel theme for all the rooms. The baby’s room has to be set up too. Vatsal and I are almost on the same page about the colours used and we always wanted minimal furniture and wanted more space in the apartment. My parent’s home too is just 10 minutes away now.”

Ishita Dutta had taken to her IG handle on May 29, 2023 and had dropped a video featuring her getting decked up for performing the Grihapravesh puja at her newly acquired apartment. For the day, the mommy-to-be put her best foot forward in maternity fashion and draped a light-green hued silk saree that featured intricate golden motifs. Stunning gold jewellery, dewy makeup, red lips and a gajra adorned hair bun accentuated her look for the day.
