On December 12, 2018, Isha Ambani had tied the knot with Anand Piramal, son of Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal. Their wedding was a grand affair held at Isha's home, Antilia and she was looking gorgeous as the quintessential bride. Akash and Isha respect each other's working pattern and values their respective spaces. In May 2018, Anand had gotten down on his knees and had asked the Ambani heiress to tie the knot with him. And rest, as we say, is history!
Yesterday, on December 21, 2019, Isha hosted a grand auction event to help architect and interior designer, Rooshad Shroff to raise fund for a new girls school in Jaisalmer, India. It was a star-studded night with all the renowned names of the Tinseltown in attendance. For the event, Isha looked prettiest as a swan princess in a metallic-pink gown with princess-cut corset. She accessorised her look with a statement diamond necklace and matching earrings. Her look was completed with soft curls, nude-toned makeup and smokey eyes. We have also spotted Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta twinning in an all-black ensemble for Isha Ambani Piramal's auction event. Isha's bhabhi, Shloka looked extraordinarily beautiful in a glistening black jumpsuit with tassels from designer, Elie Saab's collection. On the other hand, Akash looked dapper in a black tuxedo and a white pocket square.
The event was also attended by B-town fashionista, Sonam Kapoor, who looked enchanting in a black dress, Gauri Khan, who opted for a sky blue polka dot shirt ensemble. Our favourite couple, Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh also attended the event. Check it out below:
Earlier, in an interview with the Vogue magazine, Isha had opened up on her wedding and had shared, “The wedding went off beautifully. Like any other bride, I had my share of bridal jitters but getting married at home made it very special and I had the time of my life celebrating my most memorable moments with all the people I love. During the wedding my mom was CEO and I was chairperson. She had further added, “Thankfully, we ended up liking the same things, so that made it a breeze. I didn’t go to a single wedding meeting. I was never someone who dreamt of how my wedding would be, yet it was wonderful in more ways than I can imagine. It was a very emotional affair for everyone in my family. I was emotional too but everyone around me would cry all the time. I only cried at my vidaai because I felt some peer pressure as everyone else was crying, especially my parents.”
Isha had also shared how life has changed post-marriage and had revealed, “I don’t think his life has changed, and neither has mine. At this stage, work is a priority for both of us. And luckily, our parents understand that.
