The entertainment industry swears on relationship and have given us some of the most iconic romantic movies of all time. But in reality, the picture is quite different as it is not a happy ending always. Some find true love, while others move ahead and cherish the adorable time spent together. Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk were first linked in 2015, when they were spotted together in New York City. Although they didn’t reveal much about their relationship but their PDAs were proof enough that they were madly-in-love. After a few months, Irina had made her relationship official with Bradley and the couple had made several public appearances, walking hand-in-hand. On March 21, 2017, Irina and Bradley had embraced parenthood and had welcomed their daughter, Lea De Seine. After four years of relationship, Bradley and Irina had parted their ways in June 2019.
In an interview with the Elle magazine, the Victoria’s Secret model, Irina Shayk opened up about her relationship with Bradley Cooper. Revealing why she was reluctant to talk about him earlier, she said, “My past relationship, it’s something that belongs to me, and it’s private, It’s just a piece of my inner self that I don’t want to give away.” Irina also discussed about co-parenting her daughter, Lea and stated, “I never understood the term co-parenting. When I’m with my daughter, I’m 100 percent a mother, and when she’s with her dad, he’s 100 percent her dad. Co-parenting is parenting.”
Since Irina and Bradley’s breakup, the couple had agreed to share 50 percent of their daughter, Lea’s custody and would live in New York for her. Irina and Bradley are quite protective about Lea. In an interview with the Harper Bazaar, Irina had gotten candid about her baby girl and the actual meaning of her daughter. She had revealed that Lea was named after Irina’s paternal grandmother, Galina and had stated, “The second part is the Seine, like the river in Paris.” (Also Read: Pop Singer, Halsey Clarifies Reports Of Her 'Unplanned' Pregnancy, Reveals Her Fertility Struggles)
In January 2020, Irina had posed for the cover of British Vogue’s latest issue and had spilled some beans on her relationship with Bradley and her life as a single mother. Speaking about her time with Bradley, she had said, “I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being. Two great people don’t have to make a good couple. I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other. Life without B is new ground.”
Ever since she had parted ways with Bradley, Irina had engrossed herself towards her work. In the same interview, Irina had also talked about being a single mother and how it has not been that easy. In her words, “It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider. Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart.” (Also Read: Had Meghan Markle Bullied Staff In The Royal Palace?
