Nupur is the founder of Fitnessism and is a personal trainer to Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. If a report by Pinkvilla is to be believed then Ira had found love in Nupur and during the lockdown, they had come close to each other. Reportedly, Ira and Nupur are dating from the past six months and this inseparable couple wants to maintain secrecy around their love life and therefore no social media PDA. According to the Pinkvilla report, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare had holidayed with each other at Khan's farmhouse in Mahabaleshwar. Be it Halloween or Diwali, the alleged lovebirds have also celebrated the festivals together with friends and family. To wish Nupur on his birthday in 2019, Ira had treated him with a delicious feast that included a cake and Cadbury Fuse Chocolate Bars. Ira had captioned the post as “What better day to cheat than in celebration of Popeye's birthday? Happy Birthday, @nupur_shikhare!” Reposting the same on his IG handle, Nupur had written, “Thank you so much @khan.ira I have overeaten is an understatement. That was really very sweet you guys @khan.ira & @photographybyroozbeh... Coffee cake with ice cream and cadbury fuse was toh heaven.” Since Ira and Nupur are pretty serious about each other, she has even introduced him to her mother, Reena Datta.
In her previous relationship, Ira Khan was vocal about her love life with Mishaal Kirpalani and had loved posting adorable pictures with him on her Instagram handle. In an interview with the IANS, Ira had confessed that she never wanted to make her relationship public and was then quoted as saying, “I wasn't trying to be open about it. I was just posting what I felt like posting. I try and keep my account pages as real as I can. And that is what I felt like posting and so I posted it." When Ira was asked about her decision to be open about her relationship, she had said, “It depends on the kind of person you are. If you feel like being open about it, you should be open about it, and if you don't, then don't. I was not trying to be open, but I was also not trying to hide anything."
