Aamir Khan's Daughter, Ira Khan Pens A Heartmelting Note For Her Brother, Junaid Khan On Bhai Dooj

The bond between a brother and sister is the most special one. They fight, argue, complain about each other, but can never stay away from one another. They are the first best friends we are blessed with and the only constant of our lives. On Bhai Dooj, we have been drooling over celebrities posting pictures and videos of their celebration on social media. And one of them is Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, who has the sweetest message for her brother, Junaid Khan on Bhai Dooj. Star kids are often known by the name and fame of their star parents. But there are some celeb kids, who have been carving a niche for themselves. Their star parents would not interfere in the career choices but would guide them at every juncture of their lives. Same is the case with Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, who has always stated that his kids, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan (From his first wife, Reema Dutta) will have to make their own way in their professional lives. However, Ira and Junaid have only made their dad proud with their achievements.

Junaid and Ira Khan

On November 16, 2020, Ira Khan took to her IG handle and shared a sweet post for her brother, Junaid on Bhai Dooj. Sharing a video from one of the plays they did together, Ira wrote, “Oh, what to say... so much to say... how to say it right? Happy Bhaubeej, Junnu. I don't think I express or consider how grateful I am to have a brother like mine so that's what I use this day for. Junaid is a kickass brother. Such large chunks of my personality and life are the way they are because of him - all good things! And then we spent a few years away from each other doing various things. When I came back, he said Faezeh was looking for people to help backstage. He was also a part of the play.”

She further wrote how proud she is of Junaid’s achievements, “Watching Junaid in a professional space is awe-striking. And it reminded me and emphasized to me how much he is outside of just being my brother. Watching him (and discussing him with the rest of the crew behind his back), I was bloated with pride. Of course, I'd never tell him that. But that's the perks of him not being on social media. Take a moment to appreciate the people in your life. And use any excuse to do it. They deserve it and so do you.” (Also Read: Kajal Aggarwal And Gautam Kitchlu's Scuba Diving Photos Give A Glimpse Of Their 'Coolest' Honeymoon)

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter, Ira Khan is a bundle of talent and every one is eagerly waiting for Ira to announce her Bollywood debut. But she has already made her debut behind the camera. In 2019, Ira had made her directorial debut with a theatre production, Euripides' Medea. The play was an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy, Medea and had starred her brother, Junaid Khan and actress, Hazel Keech. Announcing the same on her IG handle, Ira had written, “Euripiedes' Medea. My first play. My first properly professional endeavour. I can't wait for everyone to watch it! Come and hopefully you will walk out feeling what only a great work of storytelling can make you feel.”

Euripides' Medea

Do you know, if Aamir Khan ever decides to make his biopic, he would want none other than his son, Junaid Khan to star in it? Yes, the actor had shared in an interview with The Indian Express, “I think Junaid (his son) can do it. He might be a good choice.” He had also stated in yet another interview, “We are looking for Junaid. I've seen his work and I'm quite happy with it. When we will get the right kind of story... I believe in screen tests so he has to pass the test. If he does a good test, he'll be in the film. If not, he won't be.” (Also Read: Krushna Abhishek Won't Perform In The Kapil Sharma Show If 'Mama', Govinda Makes An Appearance)
