As the actor turned a year wiser on October 11, 2022, many celebrities from the entertainment industry extended their heartfelt wishes. From veteran stars, Dharmendra, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and Madhuri Dixit to Gez Z sensations like Ishaan Khatter and Alia Bhatt poured their love for Amit ji. Moreover, to give a pleasant surprise, the Shahenshah of Bollywood stepped out of his home, Jalsa, at midnight to thank his die-hard admirers.

On Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday night, the Bachchan family hosted an intimate family dinner party. For the night, Big B twinned with his kids in designer ethnic ensembles from the shelves of celebrity designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. While Amitabh looked handsome in a patchwork ajrak kurta, his doting daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda twinned with her daddy in an ajrak kaftan which was adorned with tribal mirror work. On the other hand, his son, Abhishek stood out in a bright yellow hand-embroidered kurta designed with floral resham motifs.
On Kaun Banega Crorepati’s Amitabh Bachchan birthday special episode, his bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and graddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan had sent a special video message. Aishwarya's adorable wish for paa and Aaradhya's sweet wish for dada ji started with folded hands. After hearing them, Amitabh and his wifey, Jaya were seen getting emotional on the show. In the video, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were heard saying:
“Aapko janamdin ki bohut, bohut shubhkamnaye, hum par hamesha apka ashirvad bana rahe, dher sara pyar.”

Not only this, on the show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, even Jaya gave a surprise to her hubby. She played a video of their throwback pictures and snaps from Abhishek and Shweta’s childhood. In the episode, Jaya caressed Big B’s face as she expressed her love for him. She had said:
“Happy birthday, husband. I know everyone loves Amit ji a lot, I don’t know if I love him any less or more, but I too love him a lot.”
