Who would have thought that a little baby girl, born on September 29, 2017, would soon rule the hearts of millions of Bollywood freaks in so less a time? You might have guessed correctly that we are talking about none other than, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s little cotton ball, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Inaaya turned one yesterday and we hopped on to social media bandwagon to catch the first glimpse of Inaaya's birthday pictures. And now, we have brought to you the picture of her first birthday cake. Mommy Soha took to her Instagram stories and shared a pic of her little munchkin’s first birthday cake, and it’s all adorbs, trust us. Looking at the cake you would surely realise that just like any other kid, she is completely in love with animals and that’s what her cake is all about. Yesterday, we brought to you the story of Inaaya’s first birthday celebrations wherein mommy Soha had shared a pic of the birthday venue. She shared a colourful board with Inaaya’s likes and information like ‘I have 8 teeth’, ‘I weigh 22 pounds’, ‘I can make animal sounds’, and we got swayed away in her cuteness completely. Newly married, Neha Dhupia, who is Soha’s close friend, also shared a series of pictures on Inaaya’s birthday and beautifully captioned those as, “Happy first birthday, our little princess Inaaya. May you be blessed with all the love and happiness in the world”.
In an interview earlier, Soha shared how her life has changed post-Inaaya’s birth and was quoted as saying, “But ultimately it is just us at home. So it’s quite different. The obvious change for me is that I am used to being in control of things. I am a control freak. I like to plan and organise things, whether it’s fitness, eating on time and getting my ten hours of sleep. All of that has gone out of the window. I’m no longer the boss, Inaya is. In fact, when she was asked if she would be seen in films anytime soon or what exactly are her next projects, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous author said, “I think everyone keeps asking what my next project is. I think project Inaaya is taking up most of my time right now and quite happily so”.
In another interview, Soha shared what kind of woman she wants Inaaya to grow into and stated, “I’d like to exhibit that kind of behaviour around Inaaya. I do want her to have a tough skin — I believe that in the world today, it’s important to have one, otherwise it can get to you. People are very direct and outspoken, and sometimes you hear things that can hurt us. I want her to be able to withstand that”.
She further added, “Also, one must learn to respect other people’s opinions. If somebody disagrees with you, it doesn’t mean you block them out or you remove yourself from the equation. Sometimes, it’s good to have a healthy debate. And then, of course, you can agree to disagree as well. And live and let live”. After Inaaya was born last year, the doting father, Kunal Kemmu had adorably said in a media interaction, “I don’t know whether life has changed or not, but priorities definitely have [changed]. This [father-daughter] is the only relationship that hasn’t taken more than a second for me to completely fall in love with”.
