IAS, Athar Aamir Khan is on cloud nine as he tied the knot with the love of his life, Dr Mehreen Qazi. For the unversed, the second topper of the 2015 UPSC batch, Athar was earlier married to the same batch's topper, IAS, Tina Dabi. However, the ex-couple, Athar and Tina, had parted ways in 2020 and moved on in their lives. While Tina Dabi restarted her life by tying the knot with 2013-batch IAS officer, Dr Pradeep Gawande in April 2022. On the other hand, Athar got hitched to Mehreen on October 1, 2022.
Earlier, on June 2, 2022, Athar Aamir Khan had exchanged rings with Dr Mehreen Qazi in a lavish engagement ceremony. Soon after the event, the couple took to their respective IG handles and shared a dreamy picture of their intimate celebrations. For the engagement, Athar looked dapper in a navy-blue-hued suit whereas his then-to-be-wife, Mehreen opted for a heavily embellished white-coloured outfit paired with diamond jewellery. A few hours ago, Athar Aamir Khan took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful picture with his wife, Dr Mehreen Qazi from their nikaah ceremony. In the picture, the duo was seen cutting a beautiful cake, donning their stunning wedding ensembles. Not only that, they were also seen registering their marriage with an attractive custom-designed floral pen. Check out their glimpses:
We also stumbled upon a few other glimpses from their lavish ceremony wherein, Athar looked handsome in a cream-coloured sherwani paired with a matching doshala and turban. And Mehreen looked simply gorgeous in a heavily embellished lehenga choli paired with pink-and-green peal-embedded kundan jewellery.
A while back, we also stumbled upon some stunning glimpses from Athar Aamir Khan's bride-to-be, Dr Mehreen Qazi's mehendi ceremony. For the event, the gorgeous to-be-bride had opted for an orange-hued lehenga choli and paired it with stunning kundan jewellery. She completed her look with simple makeup and a flowy hairdo and looked pretty. However, it was her unique mehendi design which was the highlight of the day. The mehendi featured Athar's name at the centre of it and was simply unmissable. Check out:
Congratulations to Athar and Mehreen!
