Due to the ongoing pandemic, the idea of celebration and parties have taken a toss and everyone's figuring out different ways to mark their special days. The weddings are now limited to just 50 guests with the bride and groom wearing masks during the rituals. The birthdays and anniversaries are now all about video conferencing with close friends and family. The milestone moment for the students i.e., their graduation ceremony is either rescheduled or hosted as a virtual event. The families too, have made sure to make their child's graduation a moment to be remembered and have done their best to celebrate it at home. To wish the 'Class of 2020' on graduating in such trying times of pandemic, Hrithik Roshan penned a heartfelt note for the students. In his video, Hrithik has said, "Hello Class of 2020. Congratulations. Wow. Bravo. Amazing. You guys must be sad that things were not as they were meant to be and suddenly every thing has changed. It must be difficult, it must be strange. Well, I just know one thing that I almost feel a little envious of you because I truly feel that you guys are the chosen ones. So much of the world and how it's going to be depends on you, your choices and your attitude during this time. I've always believed that the finest steel has to go through the hottest fire and that is what I base my life on. That's something I believe in and I truly believe that something very special is going to come out of these times. Something very special is going to be born inside you." Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan had mutually ended their relationship of over 14 years in 2014. Since then, Hrithik and Sussanne have been co-parenting their kids, Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. Because of the pandemic 2020, Sussanne has moved in her ex-husband, Hrithik’s home to co-parent their kids during the phase. Setting major goals for separated partners to co-parent their kids amidst the lockdown, Hrithik and Sussanne had found a way to ensure that Hrehaan and Hridhaan don’t feel ‘disconnected’ from either of them. Acknowledging how Sussanne had graciously volunteered to temporarily move-in to his home, Hrithik had penned down a beautiful note. Speaking of the meaning of ‘coming together’ for parents sharing the custody of their kids, Hrithik Roshan’s note had continued, “It is heartwarming to see the world come together as one in this time of deep uncertainty and possibility of months of social distancing and potential lockdowns for several weeks perhaps. While the world talks about humanity coming together, I think it represents more than just an idea especially for parents sharing custody of their kids. How to keep their kids close to them without infringing on the right of the other who also has an equal right to be with his/her children.”
Thanking Sussanne Khan for temporarily moving out of her home to co-parent their kids, Hrithik Roshan’s note ended with “This is a picture of dear Sussanne (my ex wife), who has graciously volunteered to temporarily move out of her home so that our children are not disconnected indefinitely from either one of us.
