Truly called the ‘Greek God’ of the industry, Hrithik Roshan, now an eligible bachelor, can swoon everyone with his charm and terrific performance in his films.
When you become a big celebrity, bigger are your chances to be linked-up with women/men you work with. While some are baseless rumours, some rumours as they say, keep on growing as there is no smoke without fire! Hrithik Roshan, too, is no such exception. From his 13-year-old marriage coming to an abrupt end and shocking the world, to link-up rumours with multiple female co-stars, Hrithik Roshan’s love life is no less than a Bollywood masala movie! As a child, Hrithik Roshan often felt isolated in school as he had an extra thumb and had speech impairment. Hrithik also had to take speech therapy in his childhood. His entry into the stardom began from his very first film, Kaho Naa Pyar Hain (2000), directed by his father, Rakesh Roshan, for which he won several accolades. Needless to say, since his very entry into the entertainment world, Hrithik garnered a humongous fan following and still continues to do superb work. In a throwback interview with Zee News, Hrithik spoke about his popularity and shared:
“I am glad I have the intelligence to understand what is happening to me. If I allow myself to get affected by all this hype, I'll stunt my growth as an actor and be damned for life. I know that I still have a long way to go before I can even aspire to equal the achievements of any of the superstars. I know I am good at my job, and I am sure I will be damn good one day but right now, I also know how bad I can be."
Now, let us talk about the women in his life.
Cupid struck both Hrithik and Sussanne at a traffic signal, when both of their cars were going parallel on the same road, alongside. And as they say, if two people are meant to be with each other, they will find each other! True that, and soon after Hrithik and Sussanne started seeing one another. Did you know? In order to woo her, Hrithik used to write letters and poems to Sussanne, even if they didn’t rhyme! Hrithik, who was always in praise of Sussanne, once shared in an interview with Simi Garewal:
“Anybody who says that nobody’s perfect, didn’t get a chance to meet my wife Sussanne”.
In 2013, just ahead of Hrithik and Sussanne’s 13th wedding anniversary, the news of the split of the very much in-love couple, broke millions of heart. Several reasons were prospected as a reason for their split. Many blamed Hrithik for his closeness with multiple female co-stars, many thought Sussanne was at fault for her over-friendly attitude towards Arjun Rampal. However, a few days back Sussanne revealed the reason behind their split and shared:
“We had reached a stage in our lives where I decided that it is better we weren't together. It was important to be aware and not be in a false relationship. We are close (friends)."

Kareena had worked with Hrithik in the beginning of her career Yaadein (2001) and later in Main Prem Ki Diwaani Hoon (2003), where Bebo was reportedly totally smitten by Duggu. As per rumours, both the stars had developed feelings for each other, inspite of the fact that Hrithik was already a married man. The repercussions were such that Hrithik’s family had to intervene and had asked Bebo to maintain distance from the star. However, in a bold throwback interview by Bebo with Filmfare, the Chameli star had shared about their possible fling:
“Please give me a break. I am neither besotted with married men nor will I have affairs with them. Married men would be detrimental to my career. Ask the producers, directors and distributors why all of them are hell-bent on signing Duggu (Hrithik Roshan) and me together. Quite obviously because we are a hot pair. So there."
And further spoke about an irritating habit of Hrithik:
“That's because he is such a child. He has this irritating habit of taking soooo long in front of the mirror before a shot. On the sets of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham even Kajol would get irritated with him. Especially since it is very hot on the sets.''
This was a major fling with very strong relationship rumours doing the rounds on the internet and media. We all remember the dapper Hrithik and Mexican beauty, Barbara Mori and their sizzling chemistry in the movie Kites (2010). Hrithik and Barbara probably took their reel-life relationship in real life as well and thus, ended up hurting his then wife, Sussanne Khan. Rumours were rife that Sussanne was so perturbed by the relationship rumours that she left the Roshan house and started living with her parents. Back then, when Sussanne was asked about the same, she had shared:
“Rubbish. Everything is fine. But yes, Hrithik and I are very upset with the story of our so-called split. Nobody can break my marriage with Hrithik. We are together. Our relationship is very strong.”
Hrithik was also asked if linkup rumours with Barbara affected him, to which he had replied:
“Why should it bother me? I’m a happy man with a happy family. And Barbara is a great friend. There is no need to react.”

This one began, stayed and ended before anyone could know, or probably believe! Kangana and Hrithik met each other while filming, Krrish 3 and hence began their relationship. When they were dating, Kangana had often shared in the open that she has found “true love”, but never revealed the name. As per reports, Kangana and Hrithik had shared many tender moments and the latter had also written poems and proses for her. The Agneepath actor had also proposed to Kangana in Paris. In an interview, she had shared about her then beau, Hrithik:
“He is probably the nicest person you'll ever meet. He's Mr. Goody Two-shoes. He is not one of those men who would use slangs or implied words to seem macho or "cool". If you have a good-looking person around it makes the day more beautiful. He is very shy as a person. He is very grounded and attentive. That makes him very approachable. He comes across as someone who has problems and who can understand yours."
But soon, things went downhill and their relationship ended. They had an ugly spat in public, with Kangana being extremely vocal in the show Aap Ki Adalat, as to how difficult Hrithik made things for her. In a 2016 interview, she shared:
“Yes, many lame rumours are doing the rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don't dig graves”.
Yes, you read the right name! Hrithik and Katrina’s beautiful chemistry in films such as Bang Bang and Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara has not gone unnoticed by people. As per a SpotboyE report, the duo had met on the sets of Bang Bang and became quite close to each other. Both Hrithik and Katrina were always tight-lipped about their alleged relationship, but their linkup rumours did not go down well with the former’s then ex-girlfriend, Kangana Ranaut. Famous for her honesty in interviews, Kangana had once opened up about the Hrithik-Katrina affair and shared:
“He was shooting in Manali with some actress, when stories of his affair reached me. So I asked him, it was Valentine's Day in February, I asked him, 'You didn't call me, nothing?' So he told me, 'Phone, about what?' I asked, 'It's Valentine's.' So he said, 'Why would I call you? I asked, 'Why would you not call me? I am going to marry you.' So he said, 'Forget marriage, who all have you spoken to about our affair?'"

Recent rumours spread like wildfire that Hrithik and Sussanne are planning to give their wedding a second chance. Netizens and media were overjoyed to hear this news. The speculations were further strengthened when a close friend of the couple had shared with Deccan Chronicle:
“Hrithik and Sussanne are working it out. They identified the stress areas in their relationship and are doing their best to work their way around them. Give them time—they will come together again.”
Sussanne had broken our hearts and hope with a tweet of hers in 2016, where she had clearly mentioned about no scope of any reconciliation. She had shared:
“I request people to stop speculating. There will never be a reconciliation with @iHrithik. But we will always be good parents. #no1priority.”
Hrithik, too shared in an interview with News 18:
“Not marriage. No marriage for me, at least as far as I can see. Love fulfils me everyday. I am content and extremely enthusiastic about my life”.
