'Daddy's Strong Girl' - Hina Khan is proving to be one ever since her dad, Aslam Khan's demise and from helpless to a strong daughter, the actress is making sure to become her family's strongest pillar of strength in these tough times. It was in April 2021 when Hina's father had taken his last breath as he suffered from cardiac arrest and it happened when the actress was shooting for a project in Kashmir. Hina had rushed back to Mumbai for her father's last rites and soon after, she tested positive for COVID-19. Since then, Hina is gathering strength to become a strong girl, who can handle her family in such tough times.

Expressing her feeling of helplessness on testing positive for COVID-19 and not being able to be there with her mother to comfort her when she needs her the most, Hina Khan had written in a heartfelt post, "A Helpless Daughter, Who can't even be with her mother to comfort her, when she needs her the most… Dear people times are tough very tough for not just us, but everyone around… But thrs a saying, Tough times don't last, Tough people do… And I am, was and will always be my Daddy’s Strong Girl… Send in your prayers plz. Let thr be light… Dua."
A few days ago, Hina Khan tested negative for COVID-19 and she is spending quality time with her mother, making sure to give her all the comfort and support that she needs at the moment. Promising her mother that she'll always look after her, wipe her tears and listen to her, Hina wrote in the caption, "MAA Teri Khushi Meri Khwahish… Teri Hifazat Mera Haq… I am no Therapist maa… But I promise, I will look after you, wipe your tears and I will LISTEN… ALWAYS… #WeAreStrong #WeWillGetThruThis #Together #DadIsWatchingOurBack #DaddysStrongGirl #WearingDad."
A couple of days ago, Hina Khan had posted a throwback video of the Khan family, in which the actress can be seen singing the song, Aane Wala Pal, Jaane Wala Hai from the film, Gol Maal. Hina and her father were joined by her brother and mother as the family shared an endearing moment together. Expressing how much she is missing her father on his one-month death anniversary, Hina had captioned the video as "It's been exactly one month today Dad. We Miss you."

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Hina Khan had spoken about how she's dealing with the demise of her father. Hina had said, "The more you think about it, the more it pains. I don't feel like doing anything or interacting with anyone. I will take time and I want to take that time, though some work commitments can't be deferred." Revealing that her mother is heartbroken, Hina had continued, "My parents were a wonderful couple and it's because of them that I believe in the institution of marriage. I have seen their quarrelling, companionship and their love for each other. I have always prayed that if I have a husband, I would like to have one like my father. He was perfect in every way."
When Hina Khan tested negative for COVID-19, she had interacted with her fans through an IG LIVE session and while talking about her father, she got teary-eyed. Hina had said in the video, "I am okay and much better. I have tested negative, but I still have some cough and some heaviness on my chest. I am on the road to recovery. It will take some time. I think, while returning from Kashmir, I was not in a state of mind to take precautions but thank god, my family tested negative. I know I did not take precautions, and hence, I tested positive. I am fine now, but I still have discomfort. My doctor said it will take time. Is mushkil ghadi mein mujhe pata chala hai ki is duniya mein kitne acche log hain. Jinse expected tha unhone to kiya hi, but jinse expected nahi tha unhone bhi throughout mujhe check kiya hai. They kept on sending messages. I just can't tell you how overwhelmed I am with the kind of response and the kind of love I received, the blessings, the prayers from everyone."
