The fifth day of Valentine’s Week is marked to be Promise Day, on which the promises are made to strengthen a relationship and the partners do an extra bit to make the day special for their bae. Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal had met on the sets of her debut show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and love had blossomed between them while working together as she was the lead actress and he was a supervising producer. Coming from an orthodox Kashmiri family, the journey of reaching where she is today wasn’t a cakewalk for Hina as her father “was livid” and her mother’s relatives had “cut ties” with them when she was chosen for the role of Akshara. With her inspiring journey, Hina broke the glass ceiling and proved that nothing is impossible.
Ahead of Valentine’s Day, to mark Promise Day on February 11, 2021, Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal penned short and crisp promises for each other on their IG stories. Hina found a perfect picture that depicted their bond of love and she wrote, “Promise Day. Now and Forever” atop it. Rocky reposted the same on his IG story, a picture where he had held the hands of his ladylove, Hina and added, “Here & Beyond!” to her post.
When Hina Khan had completed 12 years in the entertainment industry in January 2021, she had celebrated the milestone with her beau, Rocky Jaiswal and her team. Hina had posted pictures from their trip and her lovely clicks with Rocky had proved that they’re ‘better together’. Ever since Hina and Rocky had made their relationship official, the rumours of their wedding keep popping up in the media every now and then. A day before her 33rd birthday, Hina had posted an IG story, promoting a hair straightener and what had caught our attention was a huge diamond ring on her finger. This had made her fans and us wonder if she is secretly engaged to her beau, Rocky. However, no clarification had come from Hina or Rocky but we wish the rumours to be true! In an interview with the Humans Of Bombay, Hina Khan had spilt beans on her parents’ reaction when she started seeing Rocky Jaiswal. Known for making her own rules, Hina had also kept in mind her parents’ wishes while doing what she had wanted to do. Elaborating on how her parents now love Rocky more than her, Hina had said, “Just when my parents had gotten used to me being an actor, I told them I was seeing Rocky. It came as a shock; everybody in our family has had arranged marriages. But I gave them time & now, they love him more than me!”
When Hina Khan had turned 33 on October 2, 2020, her beau, Rocky Jaiswal had penned a heartfelt note for her. Sharing some much-in-love monochrome pictures with Hina, Rocky had penned beautiful lines, which could be read as “Dill ki khwaish… Khwaishon ka silaa... Teri aankhon mein humein… Sab mukammal milaa… Happy Birthday… The vision of my dreams.” Hina and Rocky’s black-and-white pictures had spoken volumes about their evergreen love and relationship.
