Over the years, Hema not only left a mark on millions of hearts with her outstanding acting but is also loved for her pious nature and innocent personality. She turned a year older on October 16, 2022, and undoubtedly, wishes were pouring from all sides. However, it was her daughter's wish and a few glimpses from the actress' celebration with her hubby, Dharmendra which caught our attention.
For the unversed, Hema Malini had tied the knot with Bollywood actor, Dharmendra in the year 1980. Soon, the couple was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Esha Deol (1981) and Ahana Deol (1985). Now, Hema and Dharmendra though have become grandparents, however, their love for each other has never decreased. The evergreen couple never misses a chance to set pure couple goals with their respective social media posts and public appearances.

A few moments back, Hema Malini took to her IG handle and shared two stunning pictures with her darling hubby, Dharmendra. The pictures were from her 74th birthday, and the duo looked simply amazing together. In the photos, Hema was decked up in a pink floral-printed silk saree. She teamed her look with a stunning neckpiece and matching earrings. Natural makeup, sindoor, a bindi and a side-parted open hairdo completed her look. On the other hand, Dharmendra looked content in a cream-hued shirt. Their happiness to be with each other was clearly visible on their faces. Along with it, Hema penned:
"Always lovely to be with my Dharam ji on my birthday @aapkadharam #birthday #celebration."
Earlier on this, Esha Deol shared a loved-filed post for her mommy, Hema Malini to wish on the latter's 74th birthday. Taking to her IG handle, Esha shared two beautiful pictures with her mommy. In the first picture, Esha was seen hugging her mommy close to her, and in the following one, she was seen giving a peck of love on Hema's head. The mother-daughter duo were donning comfy casual wear and radiating pure happiness. Sharing them, Esha wrote:
"Happy birthday mamma. May god bless you with the best of health and lots of happiness . I am always by your side. love you."

Earlier, in an interview with the National Herald, Hema was asked if she is happy. To this, the actress said that she wouldn’t say everything is perfect. However, she also talked about the missing aspect of her life. Hinting at her husband's absence, she had shared:
"I never gave myself the opportunity to miss all the things that I didn’t have. I had my two daughters. The last 30 years of my life just sped by with them. Now when they’re grown up I suddenly look back and I feel, arrey, I missed out on something! Maybe I expected more of my husband’s company. I thought we’ll be together more often. I never felt that absence until now. When I married I thought we’d come to an arrangement that would suit all of us. Lekin nahin hua. But it’s okay. I accept the situation. I got my daughters. He has many problems to look after. As a human being I’m bound to have regrets….But he loves me like mad. When I think of his feelings for me everything seems worth it, even his physical absence."
