The year 2020 began with a sweet surprise when DJ Waley Babu fame, Natasa Stankovic had gotten the biggest surprise of her life. While celebrating New Year with her cricketer boyfriend, Hardik Pandya, Natasha was taken into surprise when the cricketer went down on his knees and had popped up the much-awaited question! Hardik had proposed Natasha while the two had celebrated New Year on a cruise. Sharing a picture of the proposal, the cricketer had written, “Mai tera, Tu meri jaane, saara Hindustan. 01.01.2020."
In an interview with crickettimes.com, Hardik Pandya opened up about meeting Natasa Stankovic for the first time and how they had started dating. Speaking about the same with cricket commentator, Harsha Bhogle, Hardik stated, “I got her by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, a watch, at 1 am. So she thought he is ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya’ (different kind of person came).”
When asked whether Natasa was a fan of him, the cricketer retorted by saying, “She had no idea who I was.” He also talked about his parent’s reaction on their engagement and revealed, “My parents also didn’t know that I was getting engaged. Two days before (the engagement), I told Krunal. I told him, ‘I have had enough. I have found someone in my life who I love, and I am becoming better’. The lovely couple had made headlines recently when they had announced the news of their marriage and pregnancy. On May 31, 2020, the couple had taken to their respective Instagram handles and had shared an array of pictures with each other. Hardik had captioned the pictures as “Natasa and I have had a great journey together and it is just about to get better. Together we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon. We’re thrilled for this new phase of our life and seek your blessings and wishes.”
On January 1, 2020, Natasa Stankovic had made an announcement regarding her engagement with Indian cricketer, Hardik Pandya and had given a glimpse on her Instagram of how her beau had proposed her on a yacht.
