1. Wedding Look- Radiating in red

Kapil Sharma wedding

Ginni was a traditional bride who chose a classic red lehenga over the trending pastel hues and she looked prettiest in it. She donned a heavily embroidered lehenga skirt with matching blouse and tulle dupatta from the designer duo, Rimple and Harpreet Narula. But her main wedding lehenga wasn’t an ordinary one rather it had an interesting detail to it. The outfit featured a riverside view of Mathura Ghats which was meticulously translated on to each panel of the lehenga to achieve a 360-degree view of the riverfront as it was in the past. The handcrafted skirt was rendered on tulle using Kashmiri-tilla, resham, sippi and sucha gota. It was paired with a blouse featuring a tessellated dabbi jaal derived from a Mughal jharokha and sheer tulle dupattas. She accessorized the outfit with traditional mathapatti with emerald green drops, layered neckpiece, and a matching pair of earrings. Her bridal look was finished with lined eyes and highlighted cheeks and hair pulled at the back in a bun. 2. Amritsar Wedding Reception: Back To The Roots

Kapil Sharma's amritsar reception

For Amritsar wedding reception, Ginni experimented with a basic lehenga and took the traditional route thanks to the designer duo Rimple and Harpreet Narula. She wore pistachio hued lehenga with a classic short kurti, and it definitely accentuated her bride-style. The tulle and silk lehenga features a jaal of gokru gota and kachi-patti embroidery which forms a resplendent canopy over delicate floral blossoms and peacock motifs derived from a Mughal Garden of Paradise miniature painting. The traditional kachi patti embroidery involves an almost origami-like technique of delicate hand folded gota petals combined with metal salma and tikkis meticulously sewn on the ground fabric. The embroidery was combined along with resham, textured metal sequins and semi-precious stones to render the intricately detailed motifs on the lehenga and kurti. The sheer tulle odhna featured a multi-hued patchwork border and delicate floral trellises.  She added more glam to her look with passa, maang tikka and matching choker neckpiece. The look was completed with her luscious long side-swept curls

The lehenga features a melange of motifs- birds of paradise, blooming lotus blossoms, brimming Vases of Plenty; rendered on tulle using delicate resham aari embroidery, chaawal-tanka stitches, nalki and nakshi, imported sequins, crystals, and multi-hued pearls. The handcrafted lehenga was paired with a sequin-encrusted corset and wispy tulle dupatta.
