Bollywood’s most beautiful and cutest looking couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, also share the most adorable bond with each other. After making their debut in the 2003 film, Tujhe Meri Kasam, the duo had fallen head-over-heels in love with each other. They had started their journey of fondly being called Mr and Mrs Deshmukh on February 3, 2012, by tying the knot and have been each other's constant support for the last nine years.
However, being a part of the entertainment industry, just like any other couple, Riteish and Genelia also have to go through a lot of trolling and endure some of the meanest comments by social media users. Mother of two children, Rahyl Deshmukh and Riaan Deshmukh, Genelia is often trolled for her age or called 'aunty' but that hardly affects the actress. She has yet again proved that her spirit is so strong that even the meanest of the comments cannot break it easily.
Recently, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh graced the talk show, Pinch season 2, hosted by the Bollywood actor, Arbaaz Khan. During their stint on the show, Arbaaz read out a mean comment directed towards Genelia. The comment read as ''Besharam, cheap, vulgar aunty always overacting. Doesn't suit your age and face especially when you're married and got two kids dadi amma. Even kids will be shocked and embarrassed with all your overacting. They'll be like, ‘Even we don’t act anything like this'.''
A promo from the tenth episode of the show has been doing the rounds on the internet. While Arbaaz read the comment, Genelia was left in shock as to how somebody can take out so much hatred towards another person. However, the actress stole the show with her calm yet sassy reply. She showed concern towards the user and said that something must be wrong with him. In her words, ''I don't think he's having a good day at home. I hope you're well, bhaisaab. I hope you're really okay at home.”
Genelia's husband, Riteish Deshmukh shared his take on social media trolling and said that one needs to develop a thick skin after becoming a public figure because these trolls are a part of their life. He explained, ''It's okay for people to come, because you're putting yourself out there. I don't think one should take offence. I always write, ‘Love you too, my friend’.”
On March 29, 2021, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh's goofy video while playing Holi had set the internet on fire. the duo had twinned in white outfits and had grooved on the song, Sajde Kiye Hain Laakhon and they had bathed each other in colours. They had looked madly in love with each other as they had played Holi and wished their fans.
Don't you think that Genelia Deshmukh gave it back to the troll, correctly? Do let us know!
