No matter how every parent says ‘Our kids will decide their future on their own’, it gives them immense happiness to see their child take interest in their profession. A businessman will always feel pleasure if his son joins him in his business and a doctor will always boost his child to learn more about medicines. Something similar is with Geeta Phogat, whose smile reaches her eyes, watching her son follow his parents’ footsteps. Geeta Phogat is the first Indian female wrestler to compete at the Olympic Games and bring home gold. Married to a wrestler, Pawan Kumar Saroha, the couple had embraced parenthood in December 2019. It was on December 24, 2019, when Geeta and Pawan had taken to their Instagram to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Arjun Saroha. Sharing a picture-perfect family portrait, Geeta had written, “HELLO BOY!! WELCOME TO THE WORLD He is here we are so much in love please give him your love and blessings he made our life perfect now Nothing can be described the feelings of watching your own baby be born Date - 24-12-2019.” The wrestler often shares glimpses of her son, Arjun’s akhada sessions and this time, she has shared a video of Arjun’s wrestling partner.
Taking to her IG handle on January 6, 2021, Geeta Phogat shared an adorably funny video of her son, Arjun beating his wrestling partner. In the video, we can see Arjun jumping over a huge teddy bear in order to beat and defeat him. While making strange noises and after beating him a lot, Arjun slips on to the floor and his mother and other family members can be heard laughing. Sharing the video, Geeta mentioned that the teddy bear is Arjun’s wrestling partner. Take a look:
On September 30, 2020, we had witnessed Arjun making his first move in akhada as he was dangal ready. As Geeta Phogat's little bundle of happiness is growing up, he was trying to understand his parents’ profession and have an on-the-field experience. Taking to her IG handle, Geeta had shared a series of pictures of her family playing and posing in the mud, which for them means everything. The first picture was a family portrait with her husband, Pawan, brother, Dushyant, sister, Sangeeta and son, Arjun. In the second picture, Mr and Mrs Saroha could be seen posing with their little boy. In the third picture, the family of three was joined by Geeta’s brother, Dushyant. In the fourth picture, Dushyant was replaced by their sister, Babita as she had posed with the family. Sharing the pictures, Geeta had written, “Mitti ka tan hai kya din raat sajana, mitti hi manzil tan par kya itrana” in Hindi. The cutest picture was posted by Geeta Phogat on her son, Arjun’s official IG handle, where he could be seen all covered in mud, looking like planning for his next move. In May 2020, we had witnessed some glimpses of Arjun’s ‘Dangal’ ready expressions. Geeta had posted three pictures of her 5-month-old baby boy, Arjun and we were amazed by the expressions the little one had given. In the first picture, Arjun had made us go aww with his cute smirk. In the next two pictures, going by his expressions, he had looked ready for the ‘Dangal’.
