On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, a sister ties a rakhi around her brother's wrist and prays for his long life. At the same time, the brother pledges to defend his sister in times of need. Everyone celebrates this beautiful festival with happiness. And the same has been observed in B-town. Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Ananya Pandey, Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and others have expressed their love and shared snippets of the celebration on their respective social media handles.
However, what caught our attention was Geeta Basra's rakhi celebration pictures. The actress celebrated Raksha Bandhan with her two little munchkins, daughter, Hinaya and son, Jovan. For the unversed, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Geeta Basra embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their daughter, Hinaya, on July 27, 2016. Their family got completed after the birth of their son, Jovan on July 10, 2021.

On August 12, 2022, actress and doting mommy, Geeta Basra has taken her social media to share cute snaps of her children's rakhi celebration. It is Jovan's second rakhi celebration with his sister, Hinaya. The actress shared glimpses of her son and daughter tying rakhi to each other. Sharing the pictures, she wrote:
"Happy Rakhi, everyone."
Geeta Basra also took to her IG handle to share a video montage of her rakhi celebration. We can spot several pictures of Geeta and her family's rakhi celebration in the Instagram reels. She even took her IG stories to share glimpses of her rakhis tied by her sister-in-laws. Sharing the picture, Geeta wrote:
"Thank you my lovely sister in laws, for my Rakhi's."
In another story, Geeta Basra reshared her sister and Jovan's aunt, Bhavna Jasra. In the picture, we can spot Geeta, her children, Bhavna and her sister-in-law. The story can be read as:
"Jovan Veer di Rakhi."

Last year's Raksha Bandhan was extra special for the couple as it was their son, Jovan's first rakhi. Talking about the same in an interview with ANI in 2021, Geeta had shared that her son will have several rakhis tied on his hands. In her words:
"My whole family is excited for Raksha Bandhan. There are so many sisters in our family. I am sure Jovan's little hands will be full of rakhis. Raksha Bandhan has surely come at the right time this year. It's going to be a special one. There could not be a better function than this."
Jovan and his sister, Hinaya looked extremely cute in the pictures. We wish them a Happy Raksha Bandhan.
