Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as 'Bhajji', has always called cricket his first love and he has been committed to it for 19-long years. However, after giving cricket his best years, he had fallen in love with the gorgeous, Geeta Basra. Together they had welcomed a little angel, whom they have named, Hinaya. Since then, they are enjoying their 'happily ever after'. We remember once in a media interaction, Harbhajan had shared that his daughter ranks first on his priority list and its time for him to take on the role of fatherhood with an ace. Well, we must say he is not just acing his role as a daddy, but also a husband, and it shows on Geeta's beautiful face. On October 29, 2015, the duo had gotten married, and now they are soon going to celebrate five-years of togetherness. They had a grand wedding at Harbhajan's hometown, Jalandhar, Punjab.
On October 27, 2020, Geeta took to her Instagram handle and posted a series of unseen pictures from one of their pre-wedding ceremonies. In one of the pictures, we can see Geeta putting on a ring on her mister right, Harbhajan's finger. Geeta looked beautiful in a green lehenga and Harbhajan had donned a pink ethnic ensemble. Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Harbhajan and Geeta had talked about their wedding and how tiring it was. Geeta had shared, "It’s been one hell of a week and by the end of it, we were totally exhausted but didn’t want it to end because everyone was together — friends and family — after years. Harbhajan had also talked about his relationship and the reason why he never felt like admitting on being in a relationship. He had said, "I don’t understand why I need to go out in public and say I am doing this or that. Ultimately, the relationship is between me and her. We know what our relationship is like. What was there to say when she was there in all the matches? She knows it, I know it, my friends and family know. Uske baavjood koi stamp paper sign karna tha, wohi hi nahi kiya."
Geeta had further described her transition from London ki kudi to Jalandhar di bahu. She had shared, "Mere saath ulta ho gaya. Main London se Jalandhar aa gayi. It’s been a heck of a journey. But it’s been fun. There are many places to see and a lot more to experience. My friends from the UK came to Punjab for the first time to attend the wedding. We had a blast. We got married at the hotel where we had our first date in Punjab. So, life has come a full circle for us."
