Bigg Boss 11 contestant and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame, Hiten Tejwani and wife, Gauri Pradhan, have been married for more than 13 years. Theirs is a love story which stands out. And that’s why Hiten and Gauri make a power couple. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Gauri talked about her marriage and hubby, Hiten.
Gauri said, “It doesn't feel like 13 years and the journey has been amazing. He is a great guy. I think everyone should have a husband like that so that life becomes easy for you and him both. He is very down to earth and extremely caring. He is very entertaining, which is very important otherwise it gets really boring. I tell people that we don't put the television on in our house because we don't need any other medium of entertainment when Hiten is around. He is like a child, an overgrown child. Whenever I am angry I can show my eyes at least to the kids but with this guy nothing works.”
When Gauri was asked if Hiten has changed anything about her, she sweetly replied, “NOTHING. Nothing. He is the same. I have changed in many ways. I have become a lot calmer. I used to be very quiet and reserved but now I am much better than before. He doesn't give you a choice to be quiet.”
She further added, “His sense of humour is what keeps the spark alive. No matter what situations he has faced, you will always see him smiling. I think that is a great quality and I learnt a lot from that. His honesty and genuineness are what continues to attract me even today.”
Post his shocking elimination from Bigg Boss house, Hiten took to his Instagram and posted a lovely message for his wife. She shared a beautiful picture of the two and captioned it, “@gpradhan words fall short on how you have been the rock not just through the last 13 years but especially the last 2 months. Behind every successful man is a woman and I am proud to say behind my successful #Biggboss journey it's you. Thank you.”
In an interview earlier, talking about Gauri, Hiten said, “She’s very caring and not just for me or the kids. If she knows you, she will go out of her way to help you. I love her the way she is. I don’t want to change anything. We have accepted each other the way we are.”
A couple of days ago, on Valentine’s Day, Hiten posted a beautiful throwback couple picture with his wife Gauri, and adorably captioned it, “I wouldn’t have had this journey any other way. Happy Valentine’s Day, My love.”
Hiten and Gauri are truly an amazing couple, and we would love to see them together again onscreen.
