After Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife, Sussanne Khan had given the glimpse of her workspace facing the glorious Arabian sea, Gauri Khan gives a sneak peek into her work-from-home space. On July 3, 2020, Gauri had given glimpses of her work for VOX India. On her post, her hubby, Shah Rukh Khan had enquired about when she'll be refurbishing his Red Chillies' office. Shah Rukh had commented, "Can you now please refurbish my Red Chillies office room with a new ceiling I have been asking you to do!!! I want something nice to look upto when we restart work." To which, Gauri had professionally replied, "@iamsrk our team is on it sir!!!!!"
Gauri Khan is utilising her lockdown time in curating ideas for her projects and is making the most of her quarantine phase by indulging herself with work. On July 14, 2020, Gauri posted some glimpses of the acrylic artwork she's working on as decor pieces for her interior designing projects and we also got a glimpse of her workspace at Mannat. Gauri's workspace has a stunning view of the sea. She captioned her posts as "Using my time in quarantine to work on my next projects. Creativity can be quite therapeutic. Here’s some abstract art... It was a few years back when Gauri Khan had launched her studio, Gauri Khan Designs in Juhu, Mumbai. In the 'About' section of her GKD website, Gauri had revealed how she had turned her hobby into a life-long, fulfilling profession. Gauri had written, "It began at home, like it does with all great things. I was redecorating my own home, and other related projects, when people started approaching me to design their properties as well. I took the plunge as a hobby, and before I knew it, it turned into a life-long, fulfilling profession for me. Gauri Khan Designs has been the culmination of a long-standing passion for Interior Design. It came together in less than three months, and it has now been an exciting six years since I undertook this journey."
As per a 2018 report by Times Now, Gauri Khan's interior designing company, Gauri Khan Designs is worth Rs 150 crore. Gauri has been working hard to create a niche for herself in the designing industry and she had successfully managed to make her name. In 2018, Gauri was bestowed with Excellence in Design award at the Hello Hall Of Fame Awards and it was none other than her doting hubby, Shah Rukh Khan, who was beaming with happiness and pride as his ladylove had gone up to the stage to receive the award. In her acceptance speech, Gauri had remarked, “For the last thirty years, I have attended so many award functions with my husband and this is the first time that I have received an award and he is sitting right here, this one is for you."
