Gaurav Chopraa had tied the knot with Hitisha Cheranda in a hush hush ceremony on February 19, 2018. The news of his wedding had surprised everyone as it was a low-key affair. The year 2020 will always be an emotional year for the actor. The actor had lost two precious people of his life and at the same time had embraced fatherhood. Yes, Gaurav had lost his parents to COVID-19 within a span of just 10 days. Within a period of two months, Gaurav had learned the cycle of life as he had lost two important souls and had welcomed one precious life.
On September 21, 2020, Gaurav took to his IG handle and shared a video of his baby boy. In the video, Gaurav’s little munchkin looked adorable in a white onesie and a cute cap but was being disturbed by his hiccups. Along with the video, Gaurav wrote, how his baby boy’s hiccups bring a million emotions in him. His note can be read as “When just a #hichki can bring about a million emotions in you. On September 19, 2020, Gaurav had shared the first pictures of his baby boy. Wrapped in a white cloth, the baby boy had looked like a cotton ball and the elated daddy couldn’t take his eyes off him. Along with the pictures, Gaurav had shared a heartmelting note, which can be read as “"Mere ghar aaya ek nanha kunwar...chandni ke haseen rath par savaar..."I remember improvising and singing this for a sequence in #Uttaran as #Rpr gets a baby home...I wish I knew the actual feeling then… As we welcome this angel, who's come into my life as precious rain falls on parched ground..I thought I should share the moment with all of you. On September 14, 2020, Gaurav had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared the news of his baby’s arrival. The actor had posted a cute picture of two placards on their door, which had revealed that he had become a proud daddy of a baby boy. Alongside it, he had written, "19-08-2020, 29-08-2020, 14-09-2020. Enlightenment in three dates. The meaning of life, explained in this short span of time, a roller coaster ride, a cycle, never-ending an emotional and physical test. And then divine intervention and a bountiful blessing today.
