After the fun-filled mehendi ceremony, it’s time for the next function of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding. The most-awaited wedding of 2018 is here, and all Sonam and Anand’s fans can’t keep calm and are equally excited about the pictures and videos that are streamed online. Ahead of the mehendi and sangeet ceremony, Sonam and Anand are all set to kick off the celebrations at Sunteck Signature Island in Mumbai. Sonam’s parents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor have left the residence, Anand Kapoor has reached the venue with his folks and Sonam’s close friends, Swara Bhasker, Jacqueline Fernandez, Masaba Gupta are also ready and left for the venue.
Giving us the first glimpse of Sonam Kapoor, fashion stylist and costume designer, Anaita Adajania shared a picture of the bride-to-be. Sonam is wearing a golden off-white lehenga with heavy jewellery and minimal make-up. Anaita captioned the pic as, “The stunning @sonamkapoor at her mehendi #EverydayPhenomenal #sonamkishaadi.” Designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla described Sonam's look and wrote, "LOVE IS A MASTERPIECE! As per the reports, Sonam and Anand’s close friends and relatives are all rehearsed to dance and groove at the sangeet ceremony. Swara took to her Instagram handle and posted her look for the evening. She captioned the image as, “Off to the mehendi celebrations of my real #veere @sonamkapoor #sonamkishaadi in this exquisite @manishmalhotra05 @mmalhotraworld creation.. love love love it Manish”. Finally, the day has come when we will witness the performances of the Kapoors and Ahujas who have been rehearsing for this big day from the past so many days. Earlier, a source revealed to a leading daily, “Rehearsals have kicked off at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow. The doting dad and mom Sunita will be putting together a special act for the bride-to-be at the sangeet. Sonam’s cousins and extended family have joined in as well for the pre-wedding ceremony. They will perform on her hit songs like the Veere… title track, “Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai” from the Fawad Khan co-starrer Khoobsurat, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track, and “Dheere Dheere” from her music video with Hrithik Roshan, among others, besides other popular wedding songs”. Sonam’s elated father, Anil Kapoor will also perform on his beti’s sangeet. As per the reports, “Anil is ecstatic about his performance on Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. He will perform on two of his favourite numbers – Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do and My Name is Lakhan from Ram Lakhan.
