Before we thought about their wedding, we were busy gushing over Dipika Kakar’s beautiful haldi and mehendi pictures. We couldn't take our eyes off when bride-to-be Dipika and groom-to-be Shoaib shared some thumkas on Bollywood famous dance numbers. And now, we have the first look of the bride Dipika and groom Shoaib. The duo will be having nikah today (February 22, 2018).
We got our hands on the first picture of the bride Dipika, she’s seen wearing a stunning pink-coloured sharara for her wedding with gota patti work all over, enhancing her bridal avatar. To add to the beauty, she paired her wedding outfit with emerald kundan necklace, a maang teeka, a nose ring, golden kalire and a chapka (passa). Since it is a Muslim wedding, she chose to look like a pretty Muslim bride. Dipika's beautiful loose locks towards one side and light make up accentuates her overall look making Dipika's bridal look the prettiest ever. Check out her pictures here:
Doesn’t she look drop dead gorgeous? We are sure Shoaib would have been speechless after seeing his lady-love in this bridal avatar. We also stumbled upon the first look of the groom Shoaib and he looks equally ethereal. He is looking dapper in a traditional sherwani with floral sehra covering his face. His smile shows he’s the happiest groom. Here is his picture:
Meanwhile, a source close to the couple informed a leading tabloid about how the couple wanted their wedding to be, and how their family preponed it. Hence, all their wedding plans were changed. The source was quoted as saying, “Dipika and Shoaib were originally planning a lavish wedding sometime later this year in Jaipur. However, their families wanted to advance the plan and a date was finalised upon just 20 days ago. The families also decided to solemnise the nikah in the same house where Shoaib’s parents got married decades ago. Shoaib is returning to his hometown after almost 10 years and his relatives are excited to have him and Dipika with them.”

The wedding is definitely an emotional moment not just for the bride, but for her parents too. Dipika and Shoaib were seen sharing cute dance moments on the song Sajan Ji Ghar Aaye from the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on their sangeet. Also, Dipika and her mother couldn’t control their tears on the song line Mehendi Laake Gehne Paake. Not just with her mother, Dipika is also very close to her mother-in-law. So much so that she had launched her own fashion contour in the name of her saasu maa, ‘Sitara’. Isn’t it adorable on Dipika’s part? For the unfamiliar ones, Dipika and Shoaib met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and since then, their bond has been growing strong with each passing day. The couple even participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8, where Shoaib proposed the love of his life.This was truly priceless yet emotional moment for the cutesy couple. All their pre-wedding pictures were eye-catchy and were shared by their friends and family under the hashtag #DoDilMilRaheHai.
